Lost In The Fog

Your mothers looking great! What about the flower tent with the COB LED's?

Yeah they still running. ;)

Run them one hour at start of 12/12 cycle and one hour at end, can't say it have done anything amazingly better than before but will keep them burning still a few weeks to tell if there is any difference. They do get super hot, measured them with my IR thermometer the other day after running 30min the surface on the cob was +100C you could easily fry a finger at that.

Kush has fallen. She was looking more and more dead for each day now. This is one of the reasons I want to learn how to keep low clones away from the intense light. This run I have had more than enough cold air intake and managed to keep the temp at a steady 26-28C in canopy level. But still the leds burn them away towards the end. Tomorrow Widow will meet her destiny. Cloning of the new mothers will hopefully take place tomorrow as well I'm a bit behind all this work now caused by the thrips infestation on the mothers. Keep spraying.....

She delivered 2 massive top colas, buds very dense and heavy. I have learnt not to over guess a yield but I'm very happy if this over 70g, grown in 3,6L soil pot.

Nice haul crazy! Turn them lights down would ya?! :laughtwo:

Here we don't turn things down this is going in overdrive now with the cheap cobs running as well. :)

Looking goooood :) Dont u think that i cause it's the end of the plants life? Dont think it's because of the light...it looks like the leafs dry out like on a normal plant outside in the nature

It's a little of everything. They took a lot of beating from the bug sprays and in combination with the intensity from the lights it was too much but they came through their cycle quite nice any way, I'm happy with the results and I don't care it looked ugly the last weeks. I already smoked some of the popcorn sites from both of them and It's SUPER quality, one of the best kush and widow I have ever grown. So its getting better and better for each time now, this is going so great it feels like its time to change some variable soon. ;)))

Too bad you don't have more room to spread them out away from the lights. Congrats on the harvest Crazy :thumb:.

Yeah they had become real monsters if I had more room, I need to find the optimal now for my clones. Running them direct in 12/12 I don't think is optimal... maybe one ore two weeks veg before they go in 12/12 would be optimal. Well I will keep experimenting for a while, there is still time before an eventual heat wave like last summer then I would most likely stop the grow. Hope your Candidas are doing great, I will make a drive by and check them out. :)

To day I took Widow down, it feels like a larger yield than Kush but I won't guess as long as its over 70g I will be jumping high. Plan now after these big plants are out is to get a bench inside so I'm able to get these trays I'm running hydro through will be brought up some and I can skip the pot stack it sits on right now. I will also be placing posseidons water valves in the bottom of each tray so change of res will be much easier than before. Now I had to take all the pots off the tray and put a 20L bucket next to it and tip the tray to get the res out. Then put everything back and refill the tray. Problem with this system is the salt build up from the plants after 3-4 days the EC have raised from 2,5ms to 4ms. Now I'm able to use both trays inside the tent and still be able to drain the trays with the plants in them. Will post pics on this modification later.

Managed to get the things done I was talking about before. Took everything out of the tent and put the bench in for the trays to sit on. The bench is 30cm high and the pots add 15cm the second tray will be put directly on the bench. Will move spliff and punch mothers inside the flowering tent in a few days. Hope there will be room for all clones in there as well.

Will put valves beneath the trays for draining them when changing res. Hope this will save me much trouble of this process to each time move all clones out and empty the tray in a bucket.

New clones develop nicely and are looking strong and healthy without thrips so far. :goodluck:

Looking awesome in there crazy!! It’s amazing what a little veg time can do! I’m definitely appreciating training to increase yields.

Thx Pj, I really want to find the best possible way to grow under my conditions and keep it in roll all the time. I plan for a short break this summer but then I want to kick it in over driver for this fall. :)

Tent looks great, Sweed! Looks like you swiped your bench from a sauna. Lol

I wish I could run a true hydro, like a DWC set up, but with my temps here, and with my height restrictions, I don’t think I’ll be able to do that. But hempy works great for my set up, so I’m pretty happy. I just wish I could set up a second tent to have more room! :)

Thx Bear!

The bench I actually made from discarded porch floor boards :cheesygrinsmiley: I always wanted to go hydro myself, tried running in 10L buckets once but it's hell of a job to keep changing the res in them if one have say 6-8 running. You could go and buy a complete system with pumps and so forth but what's the fun in that. ;) I always thought I would get problems with high temps on the res when running in small tents with high powered lights but actually the res in the tray is surprisingly cold. Never took notice of the temp but I will check when measuring pH/EC next time. I hope I will stick to this system now when I get it in trim.

Always need more room.... I have already grown out of my new closet... ;)
