Lost In The Fog

Just doing a long overdue drive-by... Seen the mention of bugs. I've always used Safers. Spray it down and wait 20-25 minutes and rinse with warmish? water.. I'm not sure what mites hit ya,, but safer's is a nice mild product... It even washes off some residiual oils from say neem products and leaves leafs 'happy'.. I imagine there are alot more,, but that's what I been using for 20 years or so for spider mites.

Cool way of scoring lights.. Hey if ya get them to work,,,, nothing wrong with that.............

Nice garden coming along....

Ohhhhhhhh right! I forgot your stint as a gold miner. I was wondering why you had various mesh sifters. Nah, I wasn't really wondering. You'd have them for something else if it wasn't gold!

The prospecting business is a real gold mine for many when it comes to stuff that's used in finding gold. You can easily pay 100$ for a piece of plastic or rubber.... Think I seen a set of four sifts in various mesh for 200$ then you can find exactly the same set used for something else for 50$. o_O

Be safe, use Safers...

Hate seeing stuff that work go to waste, but I hate my self for always hamstring the stuff. The hard part is saying no to something that's free. :)

I still have my classifiers and pans from when I use to do alittle mining. Mining the miners. But that's a handy piece of equipment for alot of shit..

Man talk about an addiction. Try finding your first piece of gold.......... I spent every extra minute I had upon the river for alot of years. I think I put a pan or dredge in every tributary in the northern half the state of Ca. Gold was only 350-400 an oz back then.

Congrats on the harvest

Then you know why it's called gold fever my friend. :)

Thx man, I hope she will up the clone yield for me but I'm sure she will. Tomorrow I think I can weigh her up!

Hi folks!

Today I got some good news and some bad news.

I got the drivers today and was really happy and excited to get started.

The driver rack is starting to look loaded... This is the good news.

The bad news is as usual with me getting excited and ordering stuff, I didn't take notice of that the Dumpster Hydro driver, ELG-100-C500A was at a constant 100V @500mA. So the dumpster boards is junk now, toasted them with all that volts. So today's lesson is always check everything twice. The good part is still I have lots of extra power if I want to expand the bloom tent now with the HLG-320H-48A driver it's not even half saturated with those four strips I got running now. The other positive thing is I got a spare HLG-185H-48A which I will use to power a 80W 4200K puck for the cloner.

It's no fun when things go sideways but I haven't lost any money on the lights, there will always be more in those dumpsters.

Har! Now you're taking tinkering advice from me?

Don't do that!

As strange as it will sound it's those crazy ideas that lead to success and new stuff....

Got my Canna pest spray today. Now the bugs will die, hopefully. :)

Got a dry weight on the airdome Gg now. Final weight is 45g so I wasn't totally off when guessing 40. This means a great raise in yield from the previous ones in soil. From ~15g to 45g. It should be possible to get 60-70g on one clone if done correct with certain weeks of veg and the right nute dosage. I'm optimistic again!

Update on the growing.

Pruned the old mothers Kush & Widow tonight. Still having problems with what I now think is light burns on them. The leafs are more green than ever so I don't think its nute or pH related. Haven't had any bugs in the bloom tent what I have seen, they all got Canna Cure the second time yesterday and I think its having affect on the bugs in the veg tent. They look much healthier and have started to grow again. Will nuke them one last time with the Cure spray and hope for the best, it seems very effective.

Took some fan leaves off last night to open up the center of my plants. Haven’t topped yet. All three of my girls are stout with strong side branching and a huge central trunk for their age and size.

Gave the cloner its own light today, but as I was setting up the driver for that new veg light (4200K 80W, only run it at 40W) the breaker for the whole grow went out. So after resetting it I found the cause to it in the bloom tent. That oscillating SJ fan I had for two or three months was toast, the motor had shorted. So I had to order a new one, I had a smaller in spare for this occasion.

This is how the new cloner compartment looks like.

Other to that I seen more bugs on Spliff Berry so they gotten some more spray today will keep this up until they are gone.
