I used mykos for the first time last time out and it seemed to help out. Defo using it next time. Is it wise to usenit strate off the bat with seeds in first pot or not??

I'd say it's probably recommended even when mixing soil for solo cups! If you think it works then no reason not to give those first roots a taste.

Just wasnt sure if it was too much power for seedlings as i only used it when i up potted to final pots.

It''s a fungus that attaches to the roots and helps them take up nutrients, so I don't think it would overpower the seedlings. Many soil manufacturers add mycorrhizae at the factory.

Dont know why I missed the tag mate, was definitely on the list, so a belated thank you.

Already mentioned my love of automation, and your dedication to growing and monitoring, so this is like a wet dream to watch.

Youve sold me on the potential of the system, so Ill stay for the grow to hear your ongoing feedback.

Im eager to see how switching to soil and an auto goes for you mate you've had those RWDC photo grows running on point, great to see you taking on new challenges.

This should be a real adventure, with many new things to learn, discuss and reflect on.

Thanks for your help @InTheShed I completely agree, any time you can put @DYNOMYCO directly on roots you do it. It's one of the main reasons I'm not starting in the final container, I get one more chance to charge up those roots!

Welcome @DV8 and thanks. I've done a soil grow so I'm pretty comfortable there. I'm excited about my first auto grow, and first time using @GeoFlora Nutrients . I'm having a blast playing around with the @VIVOSUN Smart Grow System too. It should be fun seeing how 'automated' you can make a grow ;)
 
Im on the fence about ordering this system at moment. On site it says the light is best for 2 ft by 2ft. Is it strong enough to take a photo and one auto through harvest?

When I told my awesome other side about this they very much gave me permission to buy it lol. I just really need/want the extra plant.

In my opinion, no. But I wouldn’t do both in the same tent either. You could fill a 2x2 tent with two autos or one photo. Or you could double up on the light and daisy-chain them. They would be controlled together.

Honestly one of our workers uses the aerolight in a 3x3 tent, he does some autos and photos in the same tent. The photos stack really hard with very short internodal spacing, The autos are stacking hard for having no training at all. So it is possible to make it happen.

I was considering ordering the kit and optioning a 2x4 ft tent with it and using a friends older but still usable led on the other side. Then again that sort of defeats the purpose of the automation somewhat. I cant afford to do the two lights daisy chained... yet ;) lol

They have 2 photos and 2 autos in a 3x3 with this light/system???
Is it possible to get as many details as we can from you/them?

This will be my first indoor grow in decades after just getting back into things with a crazy outdoor thats finishing off now. It really seems like this system is perfect for someone like me... I just cant afford to daisy chain a second light up but now its all Im thinking about! lol. Especially if I can get a second plant into a tent with this light for the whole grow.

You could use a second light on a timer (instead of daisy-chaining) if you need to, and still use all of the automation the smart grow system gives you. The exhaust fan automation really lets you dial in your environment, especially if you can keep your lung room dry and cool.

It might be the option I go with until I raise enough funds for a second aerolight all by itself. Two of them in a 2x4, everything all automated, using/developing recipes... just sounds perfect to me.

Then again need more clarification on what @VIVOSUN said up thread. Because, wow :jawdropper::thedoubletake:
