Well, I just hope it gives me some stinkfinger later on...and as much as we all love the funky skunky smell we surely can't argue based on looks. The uglier and stinkier the better, eh? If the looks match the smell you're doing swell? lol

Never ceases to amaze me the growth that occurs overnight especially when they're young...it's formed more definitive leaves and although some are still a bit deformed overall it's about 60% better I'll post pics in a day or two to let some time lapse between photos here. If it turns out to be a good plant I may have to put the last sentence of my last post in my sig as a reminder if it happens again.

Yes, they take off when there in seedling stage. I think once your past the veg. it feels like the plant slows down but in reality its the grower getting anxious and the plant just needs a week to kick in to over-buddrive!

Who likes new growth??? We like new growth!!! GooooOOOOO NEW GROWTH!!!!

Can still make out some of the mutated/deformed leaves on the latter pictures but steadily improving. It seems to really be digging the CFL chandelier. 6 26W = 156W, 1300 mean lumens X 6 = 7800 mean lumens at worst, these bulbs are still fairly new and the initial lumen rating is 1700...10,200 lumens.

The last pic shows a set of leafs on the first node, that's another head or cola, and the top view looks like the second node comes out with two sets of nodes, look carefully at the sets of leaves and you'll find them.

Sisco, I think I see what you mean...and after googling "triploid", and then "gamete", and then "haploid", and then "triploid plant" lol. Interesting stuff! I took a close look at the specimen and I see the first extra growth point you mention which sure looks like a seperate stalk trying to seperate. However I don't see anything else that is abnormal looking...hard to tell from the first pic, but the growth I believe you are referring to are just two massive leaves (compared to the rest). Does not appear to be seperate branches forming but should be able to tell for sure rather soon at this rate.

OMM...it'll be my little secret. Apparently triploids often turn out to be male or hermies, nothing I haven't been dealt before My plant inspector is a good one...has no interest in the plants but likes to check out the rest of the stuff but the OTHER inspector I don't trust. That's the one that grabbed the runt from my first grow out of it's cup as a seedling and tried to make it a play toy lol.

That inspector has been fired, I assume. Out of here, at least this room.

If I could have fixed my ventilation problems, I still be growing with CFLs.

This term refers to chromesomes in the nuecleus of the cell.
Trifoliate might be what you are talking about?

Possibly...Sisco brought it up, but trifoliate seems to be the more proper term although I don't think this plant is one. I do have a leaf finger growing directly over another...like siamese twins joined at the toe. Pic of that tomorrow.
