Light Addict's Fluxing Central - Featuring The Original Flux Journal

Renegade, my retention of reading while medicaticated is poor, I have to re-read a lot. I read LA's guides 3 times now, the words AXILs & arms, are not ringing any bells. Just friendly advice to a fellow fluxer, no offense Ren, I would consider the possibility that a re-read of the (short guide to Fluxing) would help me understand your question.

maybe axel, no axil,:scratchinghead: I'm :lot-o-toke: forgive me, LMK if you ever get 4 D's in a row,

from the teacher Ren, then we will be tied. and I will instantly give you Reps till I'm dry! Your girl looks great:thumb:

Trichs, I too re-read daily. I've probably re-read the Professors tutorial at least 10 plus times...no lie. And now I see why the question of "Axils". GF used that term. I thought it was something I said. I believe and I assumed she was talking about the area where the fan comes out of the stalk. It's commonly know as the "Petioles". From the point is where the side shoots, later refered as side arms come from.

I'll post a pic of it as soon as I can find one.

Sorry for the confusion.

How's this for research...lol.

i took another look ren:high-five:, LA removes, every other set of opposing nodes,

RE-ask in my yard if i'm not helping w your dilemma, ez'er that way for me:thumb::thanks:

Actually not opposing...every other node off the main (first set of arms).

Again, I'm going to step back and let an SME chime in. I feel I may be answering a question out of my league.

I will respectfully retract to my usual spot in the shadows...

It would appear that the fans themselves are called "Petiole" and the lateral branch aka side shoot aka side arms grow out of the point from the stalk.

I'm done...lol.

Sorry for taking over your journal and spooing false hoods Professor. An example of not commenting on something you know nothing about. But hey, I'm learning.

Yes they are the first set of arms coming out of those fans.

I would say don't remove foliage just yet but you do want to pull that right arm parellel with that fan.

SME's???

And when do you plan on trans planting? I would think you should do it now. Again I defer to the SME's.

This weekend the plants are being xplanted. What is an SME?

The petiole is the stem of the leaf, not the leaf. The axil is in the crotch where the new shoots emerge. The few illustrations are mainly showing flower parts. I didn't see any mention of axils or emerging growth.

Is there a full moon today

, dude-jam:high-five: you almost made me fall out of my barstool!!! I am sitting in the BB chair, staring out the TINIEST SLIVER MOON one can see. If you want to see a rant of the weeek, it is right after, one of the best shares, in this 420 circle of love, that I have ever had shared in my yard. My yard, is my journal, click the link below, if you want to see 2, back to back 420 on topic rants, I think you might like the read.

Im :lot-o-toke::lot-o-toke:gotta go,

NO FULL MOON :circle-of-love:

Lol... "Subject Matter Expert". Old military term. I've never heard of the term "Axil"....we've all heard of crotch...lol.

Everybody flux looking great. Cannot wait to join the gang!

Hey all lol, just got caught up :)
OK GF, if you want a traditional flux you can now remove the lower growth. Your flux looks fine. As renegade said get your main flux arms set straight. The right side needed adjustment.
Then to answer your question on the crotch point lol. Yep its these points you train out into limbs. You can leave the fans on till the actual growth has matured to a point of being able to train out. You want this first set as the are attached at the sides of flux arms. The next set will form on the top and bottom of flux arms, these you remove as they mess with flow and will twist and contourt you flux arms.
Now when you re pot get her sank to just above soil level. Also this must be at pot rim level also for easy training! :)
Hope that clears things up lol.
Here now so ask away fluxers! :)

What do you mean by sink her to just above soil level? You mean, the nodes are just above soil level? And on the potting to the top, okay, the next place I'm potting up into will be permanent and when I do, I'll be sure to make it level. I am doing the Lemon Kush both as fluxes.

I didn't have enough soil for both huge containers so I moved them into 5 gallon containers. The roots were beautiful and completely filled the entire pot.

LA,
This is not fluxing or ML, I think I would call it a F'up!

This WW plant is only 10 inches tall from the soil line, and from the longest point bud to bud she is 27" wide.
I wish I had started spreading her sooner in her veg, had I been vegging her for flower I would have done so, but I was vegging her for clones. I decided to flower her because I did not want to take a chance of keeping her alive during the summer, in this heat. I had just been pinching her back to get bud sites for clones for a fall SOG grow. On 3/17 I made the decision. So actually I only really started spreading her at the start of flower,
I know it's going to hurt me weight wise but was not much I could do with her when she went into the flower cabinet with the her mom and 2 Ice plants that were main-lined and on day 29 of 12/12. I was only able to spread her good on 4/20 when I harvested the other ladies.
Here are a couple of pics from this mornings H2O/Nutes.

The 27 inch spread in this picture is from about the 5 o'clock to the 11 o'clock position.

You can see the tallest point here. The tallest bud nearest the center of the picture is ten inches from the top of my Hempy bucket mix. She is really a nice looking lady.

I am loving the way the but sites are fattening up and beginning to feel thick. I am 6 to 10 days from harvest unless I see a number of trichomes start to turn amber then I will go ahead and harvest her.

Peace out,
