Light Addict's Fluxing Central - Featuring The Original Flux Journal

Renegade :) ok this is a method to stop stretch of internodal spacing or vertical growth of a limb/shoot in general. If you look at the top of a new shoot like trichs off shoots of the branch low down, you see the very top point that sits vertically then just below the top point will be a set of leaves that are small fans in the making. You nip these two leaves off at stem as soon as they are formed and sat away from that head point! :)
Repeating this as they form every week or sooner is the key. It stacks up the nodes and stalls vertical growth all in one :) Oh you dont have to do it more than once normally though as very effective! !!!
As for Colas etc, these colas are gonna be huge on trichs girl. They will be a bit loose at bottom, but they will literally start from the bottom point of each limb :)
Hope that helps :)

Hi LA,

Great explanation - sounds like it would work for leveling any style of grow.

Lol....

Just trying to fill my head with this free knowledge before someone turns the switch off.

And I do believe I've exceeded my limit of questions for the day...lol.

Back in the shadows for awhile.

Hey LA,

Just got thru my 3rd reading of "Tutt" style...lol. I'll save my comments for later...lol.

Was subbed to wrong threads...well they not wrong threads because I learn so much from your journal but didn't realise THIS was flux central....even though it clearly says so in your sig LA.

Subbed and learning LA, cannot wait to get my flux on

It seems like a person could get more yield out of this technique. I am doing the Scrog right now. I don't see why the two can't be mixed. I was thinking about doing something mixed with the Swiss Cheese. It gives me something to think about. I moved this over here to keep it off the other forum.
Hope everyone is having a good day!!

Hey Lady V, yep you could use this tech for the start of scrogging. Yet to be honest once you have a flux set you dont need the scrog one bit :) Im thinking as a rule that if done correctly you could get a 25-30 OZ plant from 10-12 week veg! So yeah yields are good I can assure you. I got like 17 oz but had lost 3 weeks of budding due to screw ups.
The only drawback is it eats floor space the bigger you go! :)

I have my 5'X9'x9' tent and the tent I just flipped on its side to make more room for my mess and it is 6.5'x 8.5'x4.5' So, 15 gal pots really would not be an issue. My hubby gave up part of his man cave for me :)

Hmm... Scrog flux....interesting! I would like to see that. Although that would be one long veg!

Keep him...he's a keeper...he must really love you :)

He is :) but I do the cleaning, laundry, vacuum, mmmm....long list I could go on strike with.. :) LOL ...NO, he is a keeper

But, it could work. The Swiss Cheese is to old to do the Fluxing with but it is not to old to mix the two. I have been keeping it at bay and it is still really willowy.

Re-post from Budmaster journal:

Hey LA, sorry to be a bother...

Is it just normal flowering time after the vegging, shorter/longer...I could go through your journal and count dates and stuff, but...Im lazy ok, seems too hard at 544, and I'd rather get a feeling for it than base a decision on this particular flux...rather that particular flux... :)

I did my WWxBB to practice because those are going in the ground so they will recover from anything. Soil, sun and water do wonders.

How's my technique? If you can see.

Spot on young lady :) If you get any unwanted growth....nip it off. I had a few issues early on with my flux's were I hadn't nipped enough off :)
