Light Addict's Fluxing Central - Featuring The Original Flux Journal

Here we go LA. Two pics of my first attempt at fluxing. Any comments and tips on what to do will be greatly appreciated. I let them grow wild as I went out of town then got sick as a dog so I'm playing catch up. I'm presently using a 4 ft t8 as an experiment but will be getting a 400 Watt MH as soon as my body will cooperate and let me make it to the hydro store.

Looking real nice Indeed :) working Double fluxes like this is a great way to keep tthe height down. It does get quite busy but will produce a total carpet of bud! :)
Couple of tips get rid of the string and just use the wire! :) also dont put much stress on the flux tethers. They only have to be lose and gently guide! Keep it up and you should end up wit something like thus :)

Thanks for the tips LA. Will def get rid of the string. Couldn't find my wire after buying it:blunt: LOL. Should I weave the branch's though the wire as they get longer. Also when can I stop or slow down on defoliation? Thank you master. LOL
 
OK Latin :) If your gonna double flux waffle them, then use the plant itself to weave branches in and out against. Use defol loads to keep only the end growth of each branch going. You have to remember your wanting one bud per branch. So keep stripping until you have her set to the size you want, then let each branch end build vertically with no defol at first then as and when :)
Its kind of dependant on how much vert you want and how much time you have and size of the girl you want! :)
 
YES,YES, YES LA. Now I understand what double waffle means and yes that's what I want to do. As for time, I have all the time in the world as I have about 7 OZ's put away marked personal so no worry's with medication. Also with fluxing my two ladys an be put in a closet when I have my inspection next month so no worrys there. As Pinkygreen said you are The Master Fluxer. Again can't thank you enough for your selflessness with the jewels that you impart to one and all here at :420:

LA, I'm bringing up defol again. Please try to explain to me, why, removing shade leaves, to bring more light to lower growth, is not recommended for Fluxy, at her present stage.

I just hate all the shade I see below the new growth.:thanks:

I'm leaving her alone like you said, just bending shade leaves down several times a day, I'm just a curious person, prying info. from your dome!

OK Trich lets get this explained best I can lol.
At present your still in veg and building vert. Getting light in everywhere is important in flower, not so much during outdoor veg. Also If you let all the light in to the bottom now you would have this lower growth developing more than you want at present.
Your outside for the most part :) So you get light movement! Big aid in happy plants!! :) its a bit of a bugger trying to build the desired big colas, trying to avoid ending up with just a mass of branching from the base. So use defol if required your the one on site but at moment you want her building stores of energy to power the vert and ready to budd big! :)

I'm telling u m8,get the garden wire out,wine an dine her,THEN GET FLUXING MAN.it might be the next best thing.swingers parties might be a thing of the past.THE FLUXING PARTIE HAS ARRIVED.instead of strangers putting their car keys in a bowl,every1 brings their own garden wire,hell,u could even bring some barbed wire,4 those who like the rough side of HOW U DOING.but of course,if u venture down that road my friend,WE ALL INSIST ON AFEW PICS.I could just see it,members here messaging u nonstop,"here LA,I can't get her in2 the right angle,its hurting my back,plus B & Q don't have the proper wire,HELP":rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
