As he slowly raises his hand and says....oh, oh Teacher pick me...lol.

Bar, the fans closes to the base where the flux arms branch out. Place your wire just below those. One per arm.

Shrub, I believe the purpose of clipping or nipping the fans is to ensure the energy goes to the tips and not wasted on the side shoots.

How'd I do Teacher...??

Renegade goes to the front of the class! :) spot on!
Bill loving it my friend! :) Happy Fluxing to you :)

Yea me...lol. About the above pics, although a bit more aggressive then I'm use to seeing here but the end result is the same. Fluxing. What's the pinch method called I forget?

Oh hell was about to comment further till I went back to those pics. Is that a double and yet a triple flux? Awesome. Another example of how this method rules. Way to go Bill.

Ok back to the shadows...lol.

:) :) Nice one! Now were fluxing :) Just try and judge only a slight tension against the flux arms. Just to be safe this early on! :) then once you have enough growth you undo and move down to just behind the next node and so on as the flux arms grow out! :)

I'm getting good at this...lol.

Question.... When do you clip the first set of fans? Now that we know where to attach the wire and we know to move the wire up as she grows, when can we clip the fans that we are passing?

Now it makes sense to me. I had to see it to get it. I left the wire loose as you said. Remember your fluxxing this, I'm just your hands.

Ok, with removing of leaves :) you want the node point established and with its own decent foliage before you think about stripping the fan leaf at that same node point.
The other ones that you remove at end of flux arms every so often are done every other node. Remember your gonna want to train the first node as it sits on side of flux arm. The next set, the shoots would be top and bottom of arms. So we remove this node growth and leaf set totally. This gives you all the branches coming off the sides of flux and stops you having to twist your girl! :)

No worries BAR :) dont be scared to just let her be. I let the ends build upwards in growth adjusting every 3-5 days depending on the speed.

Quote...."let the ends build upwards in growth"... The point where the ends start turning up towards the light?.

And that is and was the last and end of my questions....lol.

How often do you adjust?... Every 3-5 days...got it...lol. At every other established node, right?

And cutting previous or lower growth every ? (days)...sorry I did say last question. But really just fine tuning at this point.

Wouldn't it be great if we could get multiple flux's going at once. Mine won't be ready for several months. This is indoors right? We could plan on a fall, Thanks Giving or even Christmas Group Flux-a-Thon...lol.

With LA leading the class we all can't fail.

I'm in...anyone, anyone?
