Ok LA. This is where we're at. The top FIM has grown back as you'll see below & I removed all the new growth below the 5 fingered leaf. What's next?

BAR perfection my friend, all is golden :) Now its the boring bit, nothing to do! :) simply let her grow those two soots out. Once they are of a length to be manipulated easily, then you start with training of them out horizontal. So in a few days gently loop a single wire round each shoot and begin gently :)

Hey MsBadger, I talk via email every couple of days at least with our missed friend. Things aint great, but you cant keep a guy like him down for long. :)
I always pass on the 420 wishes etc and can say he misses you all loads! :)
Anyway just thought Id share a bud pic! :) No stunner for NOTM lol. Just sharing my smoke is all. The rest is still curing away nicely. Still getting aired out frequently as not ready for the big seal yet!!

Ok my friend, you can loop a wire loosely around each flux arm. Just behind the fan leaf stem joins the arm, dont put it under much pressure yet!. Now your waiting for the growth at that first node point to mature.
Also in a few days you will need to strip one leaf from each end point. The one thats gonna sit on top and point back into center and shadow the flux arm. Yet give it a few days on that one.
Its a bit simple fluxing lol. :) sod all to it! Once she has grown up a little and you have some guide wires down you're gonna be bored! :)

Oh and once the first nodes are mature enough to power themselves you will nipp the 4 fans off. Again a few days for that yet!

LOL, I'm so fluxxing confused! Exactly which arms are the Flux arms? I've tried to go back to the beginning of this journal and re-read for pointers with no avail. I just don't recognize what part becomes what LA.
 
So you pinched off that little top a few days back, and that was to stop the growth from the center point? Now you have the two little branches left on either side of the 'pinch point' and these become the flux arms, right?
 
:) My friend the top shoots that you have going; one left, one right become your main flux arms. (You just train these out horizontally and straight). The shoots growing along these as you train out become the legs/ branches. These you strip so as to get one massive colas per branch.
 
If anyone has a pic of the next step (you can loop a wire loosely around each flux arm. Just behind the fan leaf stem joins the arm,) it would be greatly appreciated. Once I understand what's what I should be alright.
