Light Addict Tries To Get Grafting - Target Of One Mom With 15 Strains!

Hey, can you graft an onion on while you're at it? I've always liked seeing those flower pods when they open.

Just kidding, lol. Hoping you have luck in your experimentation.

Hey folks :)

So I've some pics showing my successes and also showing my neqw attempt at grafting flowering limbs on! I don't expect a win on these first 2 flowering girls as they are both well into flowering and the limbs themselves are very small, so not much of a contact point for the grafts! :)

I wouldn't mind seeing him hit his target - and then to stick it outside (in the ground, in a large, well-prepared location) under the sun. THAT would be a cool journal. Especially if the six strains all have slightly different flowering times. It'd be like pole beans, lol - show up once a week and pick a partial harvest.

It'd also have "Plant of the Month" written all over it, methinks.

He he, I went a little under target in my title! I'll be actually going for 15+ strains on one old fluxes base! :) I'm still just waiting on my bean order to come in!

Then for other news, one flowering graft didn't make it and one is now without humidity cover and were fingers crossed for a successful monster cropped graft! :)

Thanks everyone :)

So the other night I was a little tired to say the least, well let's just say don't try and train your fluxes whilst shattered lol. We had a few lop offs happen! Yet this now let's me play with young plant grafts :)
So yep bare with me still as spending time looking after my missus! Yet in the next few days I'll be setting up some grafted plants to become huge bud sculptures!

I'm still not sure if we have success on the one flowering graft, we have to wait some more yet! :)

Along this subject of Grafting. If anyone is interested I have a US Government Booklet from the Early 1970's. It shows an Agricultural grant to the University for the Grafting of "HOPS" to a Marijuana base trunk. I believe the booklet stated that the Hops and the Cannabis were very close in the same Genetics area. I think they used the female plant to do the grafting of the Hops plant on to it. I can look for the booklet and post the name and date if anyone has a further interest in this.
The principal should hold constant for what the Original poster is attempting to do.
