Next time you guys see the clones they will be lst'd a little bit lol i just got done doing it but wanted to show you guys the before today and tomorrow I will show you them lst'd

Ya they have been under all cfls now for roughly 24hr. Taking out the leds has made such a difference in this little amount of time.

Well I would have never made thus far with out all of you i really like this community feels like home lol. My plan here is to grow atleast one of the clones into being a mother then i wanna clone the crap out of it then flower those clones asap so pretty much a micro perpetual lol thats my goal atleast.

Welcome to the party thaMfB and thanks for sharing some advice i will probably lst them as i want them to grow bushy and not the Christmas tree shape. To weasel ya i kinda thought topping would be a bit much at this point but in prior grows i always topped then lst so what with having some rough looking plants i wasnt so sure about following my usual routine. See i always read chem ferts kill off the microbe thingy's making using blackstrap molasses kinda pointless. So from what your saying i was misinformed lol. So i shouldnt even give the lower leaves that look roigh a second thought then since you say they are compromised? Never had this much trouble before everything always went smooth on my prior grows i guess it was beginners luck and now its wore off lol

Actually about the micro herd- I'm just putting it out there- kind of speculating. I have no way of verifying what's going on down there and I'm not an expert, or all that diligent about studying these things. But very experienced botanists have told me that the root system and the bennies are very much symbiotic and it would be difficult to completely destroy this relationship. And like I said, beneficial teas are used in various forms of growing including hydroponics. Hard to say whether or not they survive in there for long, but they do at least crowd out the non-beneficial bacteria and fungi. I also was reading some info last week on the website of one of the producers of commercially available powdered bennies- and they say that the idea of chemical nutes killing off the micro herd is a myth. I wasn't scholarly enough to do more than skim it- but I'd definitely give the bennies a chance and assume that they're there in some form.
Not that any if this is important anyway-but just following up on what you said.
The older leaves will still be doing something, and if nothing else they provide a source of some nutrients when you have an imbalance and the plant sucks them dry to feed the new growth. This is why they went a bit off color to begin with. They may still be useful and get hit up a bit more for nutrients before they are ready to drop. Once leaves get damaged they don't generally get undamaged - so it's harder to gauge the health of the plant - but the new growth looks good. :thumb:

Thanks for informing me on the bennies I'll admit I haven't researched them i just come across it in all the reading i do lol. Im vlad to have outside opinions on how the girls are doing sometimes i just don't know lol. I cant remember but do you check your PPM's? I am asking cause im still trying to wrap my head around it. My nutes go in high but after a while the runoff ends up being like 200 something ppm so best i can guess is my plants ate the difference?

Ok so I know I am getting ahead of myself but i gotta ask, how much longer do you think it will be before i can clone these clones? Like I said I know i am getting ahead of myself but i. Still new to cloning and i have never cloned a clone lol I'm sure it is the same thing as cloning from a seed plant but i have those scrawny stems for new growth so not sure how much more they gotta beef up first

O and I got a dumb question so I wanna ask it here instead of in the frequently asked questions forum. Ok here it goes what's with that green bar by my name? Always wondered.

That's reputation- aka reps. It's sort of a system/game for members to pat each other on the back a bit. When you read something by someone that impresses you, you can give them reps by clicking on the little star icon at bottom left of the post area. The triangle with exclamation mark next to it is used to report a post if you think it's out of line- or just have a question or something you want to flag for the mods to come and check out. Reps are probably, I guess , 'supposed' to be about a persons growing skills or something but I'll click on it if a person gives me a good laugh too- or whatever.
The more reps you have the more you have to give. It's kind of fun.
I can't keep my eyes open any longer or I'd try to answer your other questions. Goodnight Lexort ZZZZZzzzz....

What is Reputation power and what does it do?

How reputation is transfered into those green dots?

Reputation

I haven't read these threads yet it's just what came up when I did a search for Reputation. Probably says whatever there is to say though.

Ahhh see i thought it had something to do with the like button so I been liking the crap out of stuff i genuinely like thinking it would boost pls rating. Damn now I gotta go back through a few threads lol. Thanks for clearing it up for me though, and don't worry about my other questions right now go and sleep friend not everyone can keep up with me im a hardcore insomniac i can stay up for days without stimulants or even trying to and most the time my sleeping pills don't work like right now I took them 2 hours ago and I am still awake. Anyways enough of my ramblings lol peace be with you all my friends til next time lol

Hi lex,

I would take some clones around the same time you plan on topping, once your plants get a bit healthier. I would guess a couple of weeks more(we want some vigor!).

The green bar below your name is your reputation. If you're a real dick and don't contribute anything valuable to the community that bar will shink(your bar will also be small when you're new to the forums, like me). The fact that you have a nice green bar shows you have a positive reputation and people here at 420 generally like you:)

This is an amazing place -- the depth and breadth of knowledge here in so many areas of cannabis culture (and life) is astounding. And everyone's pretty friendly :)

+reps to you :)

Thanks thamfb for clearing that up lol. Hey GG thats so true and your right very friendly place i pretty much swore off the forum i joined before this one cause they were jerks over there always skimming what you wrote then they would reply and it wouldn't be to what you were actually asking or they would just ask more info when you already put the info they asked for. Phew as you can tell pretty mad about that forum. Anyways here in a few i will go take some pictures and yall can see the beginning of the lst work.

Well i want to veg them for a decent amount of time so i can get more clones off them lol. I haven't really decided how long exactly i am gonna veg them for. Basically i wanna make them like temporary mother plants til i have a good amount of clones off them then i will keep the best looking one or two and then flower the rest of the clones and the temporary mother's as well and just keep renewing the cycle. Now that I know how to clone I can hopefully fulfill my plans for a perpetual micro grow. Plant numbers don't really matter where i live so I don't really care in that regards but space does matter thus why I wanna keep this micro. i really like lst it always amazes me how after you tie them down they correct themselves a couple hours later lol.
