Lexort's Kaneh Bosm CFL Garden

Thanks OMU it's green now like the plant it came from so that is encouraging back to familiar ground. I hope the epsom salt does the trick im not exactly sure when I'll know or how I'll know it worked but im hoping for the best.

Well i just watered them more like a flush followed by a little nutes as my PPM's were really low so i thought best to top off with a little nutes. They look good other then the messed up leaves from the problems ive had. Hopefully I'm in the clear now.

Well here is today's photo update i would also like to note that the seedling is already starting on side branches i have never seen that this early so it's pretty exciting lol anyways on to the pictures

Thanks wrecked i stopped over at your journal hope everythings good your way

Alright folks i got some more pictures but i also have a question so first up the question lol i been debating whether or not to remove the yellowing leaves cause in all honesty they get in the way and look pretty spent so i was wanting to hear some others take on it before i just go plucking the yellow leaves off with out consulting with you all first. Here's the pictures

Yeah I'd trim those off Lexort. I'd probably do some training too around this time-as in drill holes in the top edges of the containers and then tie down/spread the branches out with pipe cleaners. But that just depends on what you have in mind for the plants

Ya i have been training them with lst i just noticed the yellow leaves are blocking some new growth and i normally don't like to pluck if i dont have too im feeling i should now though. Think they are healthy enough for taking some clones? I had given them epsom salt twice now and the new growth looks good just not those yellow fan leaves.

I think they're healthy enough, and if you want clones sooner rather than later you could cut a few. It's always a bit more painful at this stage than it is when they're bigger/bushier and have branches to spare. But again- I don't know/remember your plan for when you are going to start flowering and how big you want them first. That's cause I follow lots of journals but aren't so great at skimming backwards to gather the info I forgot or mixed up.
If you're doing more Lst you'll get more branches- and usually during/after the stretch in early flowering I do a little trimming- removing useless undergrowth and stuff, and find that I throw away more cuttings at that time than I would ever need for cloning. So it may or may not make sense to wait a while. :)

Well i most definitely am wanting to get some clones successfully rooted before i even think about flowering. My plan is to keep one of these clones as like a temporary mother to get clones then i want to flower a couple of those new clones after a week or two of veg but after getting a decent amount of clones off the temporary mothers they will be flowered and one or two clones will become the new temporary mothers and just keep repeating the cycle. These clones are day 29 since rooted so i guess they are pretty young yet but the goal is keep it micro. Hope i made sense lol

I just thought of a simpler way to put it. These plants are the temporary mothers i want to get clones from them over a little bit of time so the new clones get a week or two veg then flowered and the temporary mother plants will give me more clones And i will hold back 1 or 2 clones to become the new temporary mothers the the current mothers get flowered and repeat cycle

So you'll have a seperate veg/clone room of some sort, or start up a new flowering room. (?)
I don't think there's a hard and fast answer. At least you won't get one from me, lol :).
I'd probably do the Lst first and spread them to get the maximum light coverage and plenty of tops going, as well as some more growth before cutting. Also- the plants still look to be recovering and not 100% yet. (?) Hard to tell from the pics but they are maybe just starting to take off now (?). They seem a little off color still in the pics and have always been a bit oddball it seems, but are definitely putting on plenty of growth.
Or you could do the cuttings now and if you take off the tops, that's going to help open things up to give light to the lower part of the plants as well. The bottoms of the plants aren't really doing so much right now by the looks of things. If you do the cuttings now you'll also be bringing the seedling and the clones that much closer together in terms of height, fwiw.
Not sure if I'm saying anything useful here. Ha ha. You can take cuttings anytime. But preferably when the plant is growing full speed ahead and is healthy enough that it's going to continue doing so after being trimmed.

I have seperate flower chamber i forget you guys aint seen it lol my veg chamber is my veg/mother/clone chamber then i have another set up for flower. I trimmed off the yellowing leaves a little bit ago. Ill go take some better pictures of the clones be back in a lil bit.

Looks way nicer hey? You can manage quite a lot of LST with that method- especially with longer lengths of wire -though eventually you kind of get maxed out on what you achieve without using a wider pot or finding something else to attach the wires to. You don't really need to tie the wires- at least not the pipe cleaners I use-just a 90-180 degree bend is enough and easier to undo/less wear and tear. Unless I'm mistaken and that's some sort of string you're using- in which case I reccomend wire, lol.

Ya im using a green garden wire it reminds me of the twisty tie on bread bags except it comes in a roll. I think they are looking healthier today instead of back when they were drooping all the time. After giving the Epsom salt they seemed to do better with the yellowing and the drooping. I guess my concern at this point is if i did take clones now they would only be roughly 2 inch cuttings and i thought you normally would want 3-4 inch cuttings. My cuttings would be only roughly 2 inches because after tying them down they hooked back up and then any other cuttings i could take that aren't bent have small but firm stems like they aren't that big around ya know.
