Ya i just can't believe it vlad i think this new light is responsible because normally this as big as my main colas would be under cfls and under cfls i would have more orange hairs by now! I have barely any orange hair on these girls they just keep popping out more and more white hairs lol makes me excited
I can easily see having the cut open the containers to get the mass out. I'm seeing root bound signs already.
I'm really not sure what approach I'll settle on in the future... or even if the 2Ls work in my strange world.
My next 2Ls will get some different treatments as I try to settle on some of the finer points.

I would say 2-liter bottles seem better suited to the budcicle approach technically my current budcicle plants are in 1.75L containers cut down to about 1.50L and i don't see any signs of being rootbound. Just a thought tead lol
You touch on an interesting (well... interesting to me anyway) point.
I could take 2 identical plants, treat them exactly the same, but grow them in 2 different grow rooms and probably get some significant differences in them. Environmental variables are those slow acting sorts of variables that have smaller impacts over longer time periods.
Having said all that, I may settle on a different form factor... but it is fun saying "budcicle"!

Ya know I decided to keep my mothers in milk jug hempys for the very fact i am not able to keep a healthy 2-liter mother in veg. I just feel like in 2-liters i can veg for about 4-5 weeks with a indica dominant strain but then i have to flower her or root bound issues start to happen mid to late flowering.

Its hash made by washing bud or trim for 30 seconds or so in isopropyl alcohol then you filter out the isopropyl alcohol from the plant material with cheese cloth and you let the isopropyl alcohol evaporate somewhere ventilated and when it is done evaporating i put it in the oven for like 5-10 minutes at 170F to make it easier to scrap up off the glass pyrex dish and then you have qwiso hash aka Rick Simpson oil i believe.

Do you get any residual taste from the iso at all? Have you ever made or tried bubble hash? I swear it's by far the best stuff I ve smoked ever, beats the hell out of the Shatter.... But I guess the highs are a little diffrent too. I m coo coo for the combo of the two actually, but it does make it hard to focus when writing/updating a journal.... As you can probably tell by how I just kinda blurted out pic s and yapped about nothing! Hahaha, but I sleep like a baby!

I haven't had bubble hash yet i hear its really good lol. As far as residual taste from qwiso i don't really taste anything that i can blame the isopropyl alcohol for, i use 91% isopropyl alcohol since its the highest i can find in my area, if i had the opportunity to use everclear (which i don't) i would because that is 180 proof grain alcohol but its banned where im at i guess lol.Well ain't that cool beans, right on learn something new every day!
I've used both. I prefer everclear... but it might just be in my head.

I got some kinda bad news i saw some cobweb mold on one of the girls in veg it was on the peat pellet only though but anyways to be safe then sorry i cut that plant down before it could spread. Anyways its only kinda bad because i had to cut it down early but after inspecting the plant I saw no signs of the cobweb mold on the plant so i deemed it safe, bottom half was made into qwiso hash and the top cola is getting slow dried as we speak. This was the very reason i wanted to get away from using the peat pellets in the perlite hempys, i was always worrid about those holding too much water. Tonite when the lights come on the girls in flower are getting a h2o2 watering to be safe. For what its worth the qwiso hash is really good lol im lit pretty well lol

Drag about the mold. I gave them a try a while back and decided they were too scary. I grew one plant to harvest in one. It did ok. The peat didn't seem to cause any issues. I put them a bit deeper and covered them with a thin layer of perl.

Ya if this perlite cloning don't work out (and its looking that way i checked and no roots) i might have to go back to em and hope that burying them deeper might help.

The cheeky bastards may not pop a root if they are too wet.
Keep patience, they will root eventually. My longest was 5 weeks.
