I a wonderful Sativa dominant plant that lifts an make for a very good laugh, I think though it still has 20%indica wich relaxes you after the innitial take off

Anyone else have a suggestion on strains for good head high but low couch lock? Don't be shy. Or even just tell me your favorite strain and why...

Hi everyone.
After last nights little scare with the power in my closets, I had to check up on my girls today, and do some maintenance on my grow. The plants seem to be fine, but the roots are suffering, which is gonna stress my girls for sure. I'm not sure how long the lights and pumps were off but it was no more than 12-24 hours at most.
Still a little worried about it, the power surge I think happened when both closets turned on together for the first time. I'm gonna keep an eye on the closets tonight when the lights turn on, just to be sure. It could be that both closets are on the same power breaker and drawing to many amps when it turns on and flips the surge protector. It shouldn't though, We'll see.
I added a 3/4 strength dose of O2 hydrogen peroxide, to try and help out the girls and clean the roots a little. I also topped off the water lvls with reg. water, finally I raised the lights to about 3 feet above the plants. Hopefully this will help the curling leaves along with the magi-cal for the extra magnesium.

Hi everyone.
Well, tonight after the girls sleep, both closets whirled to life right on schedule. No power surges, or acts of God. Everything seems good.
We did have a pretty nice thunder storm Thursday afternoon, that might have caused the surge, but i didn't think so cause there was no power outage in the house.
Oh well, either way things seem to be running smooth for now.

Yeah the roots were much nicer after the peroxide, they cleaned up nicely. That pic was taken about 20 mins after I added the O2, and they were already cleaner, after a couple hours they looked much much better.

Good Morning Jaga, I hope they gonna put out some nice nugs, I've almost killed them twice now, but whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I guess its just as true in the plant world. Definitely going to take a couple clones from each of them when they ready.

Thanks for the input mcloadie, I've picked some nice hybrid strains to grow, I have a nice mix of seeds to choose from. The Blue Mystic I'm growing is 25% sativa, and my next grow from seed I think I'm gonna try the RQS Critical, its 30% Sativa. One step at a time though, gotta get these first grows finished and go through the learning curves of the closet and DWC growing.
I'm totally enjoying this though, I like the surprises of seeing my girls growing, and this site is great, tons of support and info.

water temps at 78f are too high. not alot of 02 at that temp. i suggest using frozen water bottles in the res along with a product such as Dutchmasters Zone. root rot will play hvoc on your entire grow and even cause rapid ph swings. if you want to get rid of the rot you'll have to get those temps down.

like your setup. i'm a fellow Led grower and have been checking out -----------s products for awhile.

Hi everyone.
Hope everyone having a great day!
I just checked up on my girls and everything is looking great, roots are looking nice and clean again and curl is gone on all new growth. Temps are also getting a little cooler in my part of the country which is helping overall.
The Girls are really starting to bush out now at 33 days from seed, I topped the Master Kush in 5 or 6 spots today, and also started to train her for future scrog.
I FIM'd the White widow on July 27 and that's why she's so bushy, today I topped the Widow properly right at the top and that's all.
I'm hoping to start flower cycle in about 2 more weeks, we will see how the LST training comes along and how much they grow in the next little while. Just topped up the water lvls in reservoir and PH'd water today, no nutes.
