I'm sorry I'm new to this - dumb question. Right now I have two gallon jugs - one for grow and the other gallon for calmag.

Are you saying you can mix the nutes together and they won't have a bad effect?

You can mix them together in water just not by themselves

Yes. Take a gallon of water.. or slightly less. and then add in your grow and calmag to the water. Shake it up and your ready. The only dumb question is the one not asked. So feel free.

Ok so heres a little update on what been going on in my G Room. Some of you may have noticed a small red cup in my pictures inside the tent. I havent mentioned it because I didnt have hi hopes it would work. But what I did was this.

During the 2nd round of cuts for manifolding. I took one of the cuts from the ChemDawg, I shredded the end with some scissors. Took a germination cup,, filled with FFOF soil....And stuck it in the dirt. NO clone stuff. No nothing. Just the plant in the dirt. I have kept it nice and moist this whole time. Im not sure how long its been. Id have to look and see when I made those cuts. But we are talking about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I have NEVER cloned a thing in my life. But I figured...what could it hurt. If it dies...it dies like all the other shoots I am throwing away. If it lives....HA free plant... Ill figure it out. So Iv been keeping this thing moist and have had it all the way to the edge of the tent so it wouldnt get too much light. I honestly thought it was slowly dying. But there was no way to check for roots without killing it. I almost pulled it up a couple of times because it seemed by now it should have been dead. But it was just kinda stalled and starting to turn yellow. So I started taking just a little bit of runoff from the other plants when I feed them and gave it to the slowly dying clone. But a few days ago I noticed that it appeared to be growing. But I now have my tent in flower mode. So I hooked up a small CFL in my other tent for now. And it seems to be taking off a bit. These pics are from the day I noticed it was growing and put it in the other tent. So about 3 or 4 days ago. Last night there was noticeable growth but I didnt take any pics. Im still amazed at the fact that this thing took off like that. It still may die lol but as far as roots. I transplanted her last night into a half gallon pot. And shes for SURE has roots.

As for the other ladies. Here they are. Not much to tell. I plan to give them reg water tonight.

Just checked...Looks like it only took about 2 weeks for the clone to take off. Felt alot longer. lol. Im not sure how long they normally take off. So IDK

I watered them last night. Just plain regular water. I should and wish I would have mixed in some catalyst and CalMag. But long story short, I didnt. I was also about 12-24hrs late on watering them. As they were very droopy last night. I should have watered them the night before. But they felt heavy still.

I dont remember if I said the other day but I transplanted the clone a couple days ago in a half gallon pot. Watered it.

Last night I added another CFL Bulb to the mix.




I should probably start my next grow. That way when these are done flowering, These next ones will be ready to move over and start to flower.

It takes a minute to get your bearings and situated into this hobby, well, it did for me anyway. I've been at it about 6-7 months and am now just getting settled in and comfortable. I still check the plants everyday but then I'm off to practice guitar, hang with friends and family, watch a show, and whatever...

Anyways... the Sea of Green is nice and the Perpetual Grow is nice too, give your self some time to get there. Before you know it you'll have plants everywhere and wondering what the hell happened.

I like your idea, a couple in flower and a couple in Veg. Seed or clone, veg, flower, harvest, repeat. After all that is the natural way of things!

Your Garden is green you're doing it right!

BTW, 12-24 hrs is not a a game changer, I still can't get over how durable and hardy these plants are. The survival instinct is strong!!!

I would actually have preferred a 6 ft tent but if you go look for one they barely exist. Mars has one but its cheap trash that starts to fall apart as soon as you get it. PLUS I wanted a 4x4. In a perfect world I would have gotten a 4x4x6. But like I said. They just arent that many of them. I have a 3x3x6 mars tent and always have toom at the top. I usually need more room around to keep the girls from touching and laying on the tent walls. I cant get a 7 ft because my grow room roof is only 7 ft. or maybe even 6 10 or 6 11. Thats why I needed a 6 footer. But seeings how they dont exist hardly...I went with the 5 ft. I dont believe it will be a problem. Height isnt really a problem. I can always go back to scrogging if need be but I believe I will be just fine.

Fed them today. I made the nutes last night. Checked today and the PH was up to about 6.5 so I went ahead, against every fiber in my being. and Fed them with lights off. Using my phone as a light to see. I hope that doesnt mess with them too much. I am going to have to change things up. Mixing only about half of my mix so I can let bubble until lights on again. Ph will be too high but because I only used half dose. I can mix in the other half and bring the PH back down to where I want it. ANYWAY..

The tower fan? Its working great. Its nice to have an osculating fan. The one I had before this was just one of those clip on fans. So basically you point it and there it is. Constantly blowing on your plants. And even tho Iv ran several grows doing that. I read its not good. Wind burn and all that noise. IDK...Nothing else its a little bit of mind ease.

I got me some new saucers. Iv been using these old ones for a while now. And they SUCK. Flimsy, and just over all crap. These are much sturdier.

I am also in the process of germinating my next crop. I have already soaked, and paper toweled them, Last night the 3 (out of 4) that popped I put in dirt. I then soaked another to replace the one that didnt pop. And 1 popped but didnt show any signs of growth in the paper towel. I went ahead and put it in dirt but I dont have very high hopes. Which SUUUCKs because I was very much looking forward to it. Here is the list of the next crop

Delicious Candy....Popped but didnt show signs of growth.....Fingers crossed. So far the best Iv smoked and grown

I watered them Saturday Night. I let all 4 plants split 1 gallon of regular tap water. Just enough to hold them over until today.



Made nutes last night. Made 2 1/2 Gallons. It is currently bubbling and contained this

I am going to let it bubble until light on tonight. Which will probably be too long and the pH will probably get too high. But I considered that when mixing the nutes. Which is why I only went with 4tsp of GROW. I really want to do 3per gallon until the stretch is over. So I wanted about 6tsp in there. Iv done some experimenting and it might not be exact. Iv noticed that 1tsp of GROW (per gallon) will drop your PH about 1 point. I believe Bloom does as well but not certain. I seem to remember trying it too but cant be sure. SO Bubbling in a warm environment (I say warm because if everything is cold, PH doesnt want to raise as easy. So I must drop a tad of MAMMOTH P in to help it. After that it will raise every hour) So bubbling 24 hrs has been giving me really high ph around 7.5 or higher. But I dont want to disturb them while they are in lights out. And I also dont want to wake up earlier. It seems 12 hrs is perfect time. Leaves me at around 6.5 PH Buuuut ^^^^^^^^So I will just try and drop it back down with more nutes.

As far as the clone and the babies go. I have 3 babies above ground. SUPER SKUNK.....SOUR D>....CRITICAL KUSH... The Delicious Candy didnt make as I suspected. Dead in the Towel. SUUUUUUCKS.. SO I am going to germinate a PAKISTAN VALLEY and see how that goes. Reviews on it seem good. Here are some pics. I bent the clone over so it will bush a bit more. As it was getting a bit top heavy due to the CFLs. I hooked my new speed controller for my new IPOWER 6" exhuast fan i got for my other tent. I now have it fully up and running. With my other cheap LED on for the veg stage. Here are some pics

Just a thought for your future cloning attempts. It's like an Ant Farm for roots! Use clear plastic Solo cups inside red Solo cups. Drainage holes in the clear cups, no holes in the red cups. You can water and then let them sit in the red cups until the soil has been saturated and then take them out to drain. It's also a killer way to see how much moisture is still in the soil after they've gotten somewhat dry. It's always way more than you'd think.

And its a great way to check your root development so you know when to transplant.
