Ok so Im still light searching. I gotta say Im a little disappointed in the growing community as there arent a lot of good reviews on LED lights. There are several threads dedicated to it but not a lot of info or actual reviews. Seems a big part of them just turn into HID and MH growers talking about how LED arent worth it and how they just dont work. Then LED growers defending LED. But I would love to hear ACTUAL reviews of some of these big named lights. Or maybe they are there and im just not finding them. But I have searched. And the ones I find I dont trust. But through my research I have come to these lights.
Perfect Sun Goliath- $1200...570 watts...Par reading beats all other lights (in his video)It has 1200 par at 18 inches away. It covers 5x5 feet. ...New company, no one seems to know how well they are built or how long they last. $1200 is alot of money for 1 light. Everyone seems happy with it....Until they arent. Made with Bridgelux - Hi Powered 5w LEDs..Extremely heavy at around 60p so needs a special brace above the tent built. Im no carpenter. Its number 1 on my brain. . . . OR 2 Dwarfs or 2 500s Neil (the owner) seems to recommend the Dwarfs over the 500s

Also looking at California Light works SolarStorm but cost too much for the one big enough to fill a 4x4. The one thats almost 900 only covers a 3x3. Which could be enough for my tent. my tent being a 3.3x3.3..
Also looking at KIND LED They seem to be making a name for themselves.
And every top 10 list...And I mean EVERY top 10 list...seems to have PlatinumLED Grow Lights.
The landscape is very confusing and A person would have to read days worth of journals for each light to get a real sense of what they do. And alot of those dont really show things like how much heat the light is putting out, how long did that light last. How many grows did you get before soemthing happen to it. How was costumer service. I too am guilty. I really should write a review for my Mars Reflector and Mars Tent.
If anyone has some info On any of these or other lights. Id love to hear it. I keep hearing COB is the future and the way to go but Im pretty satisfied with what my cheap mars did. And if it wasnt a peace of crap that tears up after a couple grow, I wouldnt even be looking for a new light. But I dont light the penetration it gets and they are WELL known for tearing up. SO I want a good light that in my tent in my setup I can get 3-4 OZs a plant with 4 plants. And something 3 years from now will do the same. And if its just a fact that led lights dont last then I might as well get a cheaper one. I feel this is a real discussion that needs to happen between us LED growers. And maybe it is, if so point me in the right direction.
