i just feed my girls last night with my other bud enhancer for the first time and boom their already chunking up the next day, now my fan leaves have resin all over them and the stems on the fan leaves are covered also. man i am getting real happy these strains look to be some killer buds. i was shocked to see them fatten and tighten up that much in one day, i still have 4 more feedings with this stuff. my big hindu skunk on the 126w side is really staring to fill in nice on the top cola, all the side branches have nice fat nugs all over.

the blue dreams on the 180w side are getting really fat with fat buds all over, but the little runt hindu skunk is just filling in decent top cola, she might only yield any where from 3.5-7.0g. i wish she went well in the begaining because i can see that the hindu strain is a real high yielder that grows real big, i would deff grow these two strains again.

WOW great news! I would like to hear what the other bloom enhancer is too. My buds are still growing too. I just wonder how long this is going to keep on. The extra weeks they seem to take under LED can really get expensive when you start to factor in the cost of nutes.

Would you PM me what your Bud Enhancer is that made them Chunk up? I could use a Secret or 2 in my enviroment!

Well unless that's some trick photography or something it looks to me like the extra wattage won out. I guess you'd have to wait for final weigh-in or is it obvious? Pix just aren't as good as being there.

Now I guess your just going to have to buy a shitload of different LEDs and wire up your own lights with different spectrums but the same wattage and do it all over again. Once you've told us all your secrets we can start making them and get rich before you get your patent on it. oops! I didn't say that out loud did I? lol!

Speaking of trick pix. I stuck the lens off my old dead Yashica 35mm in front of my digi cam and I can take really decent macros with it. I'm going to post some in my journal right away so have a look later.

its pretty obvious when i look at them; that the 180w has produce bigger fatter buds then the 126w. i cant say how much better? i wont know for sure until i get them on the scale with the dry weight per plant.

Did the 126W get better vegetative growth? It looks like that's the case. Could be a mix and/or change of lights might be the best formula for yield here.

My early opinion is (with a 126w and a 63w) that there is going to be three ways to make LED's most effective:

1. Must use some as side lites and encircle the area with light from all angles. I can tell right away topside coverage only isn't the way to go.

2. Do exactly as Bolivar suggests and throw a mix of spectrums in there with different manufactures. Find the best 2 and mix them.

3. Add some T5's or something to aid in flower.

Now there's many different variables that determine whether the cost overides the stealth and we each know our own situation. Me i'm sticking with LEDs because they best fit my current situation. I also think by this summer once people get into that 2nd and 3rd grow we'll start seeing the innovation that makes this hobby great and forum invaluable

I thought the red was for flowering and blue for veg.

Did i read somewhere that the new HGL whites are a higher watt like 3w thus the overall reduction number of whites? I can't recall the exact sprectral changes.

Maybe I missed that. That would make more sense. Would contradict HGL stating that 3-1w LED's are more efficient than 1-3w LED. I think the white went down from 10% to 5% and the blue went up the same.

blue is for veg and red is for flowering. she needs more red in her lights. the thing i dont get is she claimed her leds were so good because of the white leds, but now she going from 20% to 5% white leds. but i no she dose need more red in her lights to get some better bud growth.
