LA's Shooting For The Stars Journal: My Effort To Grow Pro!

lol, you ain't een anything yet..... I've so many new toys for my next tent run its daft. My dream setup for sure! It's taken me almost 10 yrs though lmfao

awesome LA. Stoked for ya

When they all take off vertically, will you need more support? Seems an awful lot of weight will be carried back to the root ball as is.

Hey LA! I got a minder based on your recommendation with the promo code, thanks! Do you feel like the rh sensor is accurate? I feel like mine runs very high. I have a bunch of those regular meters and they are consistent while the minder runs about 20 points higher. I emailed PLG and they said their sensors are the best out there and calibrated, etc. Still, I find it odd that the regular meters all read the same and the minder is 20 points higher. Normally I would not want rh above 60 so I shoot for middle ground between sensors and the minder usually read right about 70-75 like yours is.

Any tips for getting in the optimal VPD range?

Cool you got yourself one

So the sensor is indeed very accurate and I know the guys from Plg and can say that they really do calibrate all to a higher standard than most would. They're a data driven company and once you've met them in person you see that real passion for what they do.
I've a similar sensor setup on my multi fan controller by another company. I've ran both and compared. Both gave results that compared directly to the other. So my thoughts are these are just far more accurate.

As for VPD

This will change depending on setup. For myself in a cupboard it's the relationship between light timings/watering times/dehumidifier setting and amount of heat and air exchange going on.
Lots of factors that differ from space to space unfortunately.
I just played it by ear and shifted these factors till I started hitting ideal vpd consistently.

Thanks! I had some emails back and forth and they were very helpful! I really like my minder! One added bonus is if there is a power outage, I get and email that says when it was disconnected and then when it reconnects. I have the dash board opened on my phone and simply refresh when I want to check which is pretty often, ha!

Cheers! :passitleft:

It's a bit of kit called a minder. It's from a non sponsor here so cant say more sorry. I'm trying to be a good boy here now I'm back proper.

Fully understand my good man. I think I can track it down. :D
