LA's Shooting For The Stars Journal: My Effort To Grow Pro!

Finally read this thread through. First off I would like to shake you hand for all you have done for us like minded growers. I have read your stuff from different forums over the years and the most important thing I have picked up is to never let restraints of any kind hold you back. You are an inspiration to new growers around the world, and frankly I have seen you do things with our beloved plant that baffle the stoned mind. Best of luck going forward with some ambitious growing (sculpturing) and not to put any pressure on but the world is watching. With your list of journals it looks like lots more reading in my future. :passitleft:
Such kind words. Many thanks indeed for taking the time. Its stuff like this that keeps me going

If you ever need a pick me up, heck, just go back and look through your pics. :D

You've weaved such an excellent story through your threads, and it's been a wonderful ride thus far man. I've enjoyed every minute of reading along, and can't wait to see what happens next. Wishing you all the best in the new year and beyond!

Happy New Year and Happy Friday to Light Addict and to all! I check this thread more than I would admit :) I hope all is well and can't wait to see what comes next. Your advice has been helping me immensely lately as the ladies are popping up. I'll take this seat in the back and take notes quietly from here on out but had to say thanks again as your advice has turned into a successful start for this return grower! 5/5 :)

I'm still having fun with spidermite lol. My most important plant to date and the 1 time I've ever got them.
Bloody life... Not that bothered anymore. Just keep em at bay. Using Pyrethrum 5ec, the most effective thing I've found yet. It's only issue being the brown spotting left on foliage, due to residue and drying etc.
Yet ive some goodies being sent out by aptus to try and they have an organic incecticide that I'll try out shortly.

Hey LA bigbud here I've got a great spider mite killer works for me when I've had infestations and works well
So it's cold pressed neem oil 8ml to 3 ml insecticide soap in one litre of water also 200ml of 99% isopropyl alcohol every 3 days for 12 days please try it you wont be disappointed if that fails which it won't
Then you have to go nuclear avamectum and flora mite lethal but nothing survives

Many thanks bb78

This does work, and really well.

Cheers Bb I've got the neem in so I'll order the rest in today. Cheers indeedie!

So yesterday I got a nice delivery of some new led lamps. They're 205w per unit with 3 levels of dimming via a magnetic fob and sunrise mode etc. Got 6 of them for an upcoming autoflower run.

Nice LA! man it’s cool to see how far you have come since the beginnings way back. Keep on rocking brotha.

Man those units have a lot of al'loo'minee'um! I bet you can drive them hella hard if so desired, though the current proximity to the canopy, doing so might have adverse effects. With LEDs, I've found the 'less is more' mantra to be true.

No matter ones level of gardening mastery, we all have one root issue in common...

More. More! MORE! :laughtwo: :laughtwo:

Seriously though, those are some pretty neat lights! :D
