Landrace Genetics 101

I do it occasionally, not just for pain, but for a spiritual relaxation. Most people in the sensationalist culture would be a hindrance to that.
Hey if it works for you, good on ya. I can certainly admire the looks of a nicely grown plant.....but I reserve judgement on quality until its burning. I just don't get the people that look at bud and go "that thing looks like shit, I ain't smoking that". Give me a gnarly Panama Haze over cookie cross any day of the week. Plus it all looks the same once its ground up and in my bong LOL.

Growing a plant and enjoying all aspects of it is certainly rewarding. Those bushy little plants from the Middle East are laughed at by some, but the natural coffee/cider/chocolate/honey flavors are just a bonus to the deep relaxation and humor they provide. I'll take that over a feminized seed from some candy shop named strain anyday. You bong hitters must have some strong lungs, lol. I'm an older guy now. A bong would kill me.

I only started smoking when I blew out my back. Took a while to get used to it. Been close to 4 years now and bong is the only way i like smoking. Its way to harsh smoking a joint or pipe for me. I have a dab rig but I don't find dab highs to have as full effect as flowers so I rarely do them. They are smoother and tastier for sure with the dab rig....but it just doesn't get me where I want to be like smoking flower.

almost a year
Hi Lazy. That sounds about right. I was bummed not to show him the purple satellite i grew outdoors. It was beautiful and survived being surrounded by fire for half it’s life. I lost my summer crop to whitefly-induced webby mould :rip: so i never posted it here at the end but as far as growing it went spectacularly, (whitefly infestation was just a symptom of heavy drought and bad fire season throwing everything out of whack - incl. No dragonflies).

Anyhoo, i have some more seeds of it so i will try it again sometime. It was a gorgeous plant.

IIRC @tropics often spends long periods of time away from the mag... this has been a super long ‘hiatus’ tho...

what happened to @tropics? he posted a lot here with his Oaxacans and purple satellites.

He is in Australia atm, im communicate with him over E-Mail. He is Camping right now, he told me he will probably not be back to the States until next year. But he has a friend who will send new Stock to ACE Seeds. :)

Im growing the Oaxaca79Skull right now, together with a nice CBG Oaxaca79S1 Plant. I'll hit the CBG Oaxaca79S1 with a Oaxaca79Skull male.

That is stunning looking. Beautiful long fingers and sweet color
Thanks! It has an iridescence in person that’s pretty magical. Shines like a tropical bird’s feathers.
I couldn’t find my notes to see exactly what it is. It’s either punto rojo x 1978 Colombian Gold or punto rojo x mangobiche or Acapulco Gold x Puntobiche.
