Can you please release it without the Hawaiian Sativa included, lol? If so, I'd be (more than) happy to buy the strain from Ace.

Yeah...

I've been looking for a real Oaxacan to play with. Been too long.

I forgot that you'd posted those pics before. And purple. Yum!

What do you think about the roots of Hawaiian strains? I see the genetic similarities between Colombian Gold and Thai, and I've heard people say that Hawaiian can be Thai from the Nam days and/or Lumbo from shortly after.

I think a lot of the old School Hawaiian was very much a mix of Thai, Laos, and some Mexicans. Maybe Columbians and Panamanian.
I had Hawaiian bag weed back in the seventies that were just amazing, two that stick out were Maui Wowi that were like green pine cones and smelled like mint candies, and a gold Sativa that tasted just like fruit stripe gum, it actually made your mouth water when you took a hit off a joint.
I read About Federation's Hawaiiam Sativa and I flew all the way to Vancouver to buy seeds through a seed broker. he took me all over the city and he scored for me the last two packs a vender had in stock. OH HAPPY DAYS!
I believe the Feds HA was derived from famed Kona gold or AKA Banana bud. Alot of the great HA strains however did not grow welloff the Island even in Cali. Mostly because they were so adapted to such perfect conditions. I grew seeds from The Maui and flowered them but they were pale compared to their mom. I once read a Hightimes Article that any good cannabis that gets brought to HA adapts and gets even better after several generations.

I bet it's the volcanic soil. I've seen epigenetics in my own highly mineralized garden as clones change from generation to generation. I had a Cali Orange from seed that grew fat leaves at first, but changed during growth, with successive clones keeping the thin leaf trait.

Volcanic soil might be closer to it's "ancient natural environment," maybe? That plus the climate, I guess.
