Landrace Genetics 101

I usually go from 1's to 3's then flip, less work. Lol
I hear yha!
I find that Mulanje needs tweaking to get the densest buds from them, being pure Sativa,
My first Mulanje grow came out great so I am progressing s closely as possible to that grow.

First Mulanje grow pictured below in two gallon pots yield as about 3 ounces each.

This is the year of the Haze though. Lol
Once I do the Haze I'll start with Colombian Gold from Snowhigh and Colombian Red from Cannabiogen. Those will be my sativa projects, I'll try and work sexually stable lines from both if possible. I may not live long enough though! :nervous-guy:

Sure, I'm just thinking how long it will take to stabilize the Colombians.

OK GREAT! just lost to many people in short amount of time, so no bad news fora while!
I grew a really nice looking strain of Punta Rojo but the potency was really lacking.
So I have not ventured into any more of the Colombians. I remember as a teenager planting Columbian Gold outdoors in New England that grew so big the neighbors said you better cut those down, but never a flower outdoors.

My first plants were Red Bud the summer of 1977 in the Ohio Valley, I'm going to say they hit 12'-14' tall. They didn't come close to maturing by the first of November so we chopped anyway. About 1980 we got ahold of some Skunk that had some seeds and we never looked back. Lol

did two grows of those both got ripped off before there were any buds dumb mfs.!

I caught a Oldtimers leaning pheno in an Ace mix and that sucker was the real deal. It had absolutely no bag appeal, but every part of every leaf and calyx surface was covered in tiny trichs. You pull a damp sticky clump of loose bud out of the jar, stuff it in the pipe, and you're high for 4 hours, with no lethargy and no crash. :slide: It smells like alfalfa. :p I get a big kick out of making people try it.

But it's not easy to get it to the end. I had success by restricting root space in early bloom (which it only started to do after it sat under 11/13 for 7 weeks). When it stopped stretching, I upcanned it again. Flip early or start no mercy, bloom it in a 3 gallon pot, then upcan to 7+ and you should be able to manage it indoors.

It's worth it - a true Haze.

This has been in the jar over a year so it's fully cured, hence the brown color.
