I don’t but, I’m too lazy to collect and store it.. lolSo, here's a question....do any of you reuse the water from your dehumidifier for the plants?
If not, why not?
I figured the ph would be closer to 7Dehumidifier tank water
@73f

I do during the winter, I even thought if the apocalypse ever happens..there's you a water source. So, here's a question....do any of you reuse the water from your dehumidifier for the plants?

It probably would be closer to 7. Ive got 3 meters now. I tested the first time and it was coming back at like 8.1ph so I recalibrated that meter, and the other 2 backups. Then checked again. All 3 meters were within .05, doesn't make them right. Lol I have gone rounds with meters.I figured the ph would be closer to 7
And the ppm should be low, the 12 - 18 seems right. My RO water is right there as well.
@Lady Cannafan I’d think with tds that high (still super low) it’s probably the tank needing a bit of a wash.
You could be right. I hadn't washed it out before getting it into the grow room, and it had been stored in the basement of my folks house for many years. I wonder what the PPM of spider webs, residual spider dung and bug leftovers mixed with water is?I figured the ph would be closer to 7

Tell him to bring two! He can stop at my place after yours. It probably would be closer to 7. Ive got 3 meters now. One day Santa will send a a pro grade meter.

I love the black background, it's great to do if you have small or medium size plants to move in front of it.Making it look too easy there…..
Also I’m jumping in the black tent/background bandwagon!!!! Makes these plants really pop!
Yeah, I think so. I always see the tips get a little brown at this stage, and I'm not going to pay much attention unless it gets farther up the leaves.Absolutely gorgeous!
Perfect shape and size! Nice buds!
I’m getting some tip and leaf edge burn but, this far along I’m not going to worry too bad about it unless it gets worse.
You think yours might just be normal late flower discoloration?
It's like a sick game. Now I'm just to the point where I will calibrate them before each use. Realizing I've been a little heavy on ph down lately. Most don't worry about pH at all. But I'm on a well and it does fluctuate a bit.I’m going rounds with mine now.
I calibrated it when I calibrated my ph probe for the doser. Now, my pen is a full point off. Not sure if it’s the probe or the pen that is off.
I’m inclined to just spring for a blue labs meter.
That would at least give me 3 to compare to each other.
I’ll run by the store and get some calibration solution and see if they have a higher end one in stock
