Lady Cannafan's Seedsman Comparative Grow Banana Jealousy ViparSpectra KS5000

Okay, I just tested the reservoir water:
PH: 7.65
PPM: 143
Dehumidifier tank water

@73f

PH: 7.75
PPM: 12-18

Well Water Pumped Today

@60f

PH: 7.6
PPM: 280-300

So, here's a question....do any of you reuse the water from your dehumidifier for the plants?
If not, why not?

:dreamy:
I don’t but, I’m too lazy to collect and store it.. lol

I figured the ph would be closer to 7
And the ppm should be low, the 12 - 18 seems right. My RO water is right there as well.
@Lady Cannafan I’d think with tds that high (still super low) it’s probably the tank needing a bit of a wash.

I do during the winter, I even thought if the apocalypse ever happens..there's you a water source. 😉

It probably would be closer to 7. Ive got 3 meters now. I tested the first time and it was coming back at like 8.1ph so I recalibrated that meter, and the other 2 backups. Then checked again. All 3 meters were within .05, doesn't make them right. Lol I have gone rounds with meters.

One day Santa will send a a pro grade meter.

You could be right. I hadn't washed it out before getting it into the grow room, and it had been stored in the basement of my folks house for many years. I wonder what the PPM of spider webs, residual spider dung and bug leftovers mixed with water is?
I'll be giving that reservoir a good cleaning before bed tonight and try again tomorrow for the reading.

Tell him to bring two! He can stop at my place after yours. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Making it look too easy there…..

Also I’m jumping in the black tent/background bandwagon!!!! Makes these plants really pop!

I’m going rounds with mine now.
I calibrated it when I calibrated my ph probe for the doser. Now, my pen is a full point off. Not sure if it’s the probe or the pen that is off.
I’m inclined to just spring for a blue labs meter.
That would at least give me 3 to compare to each other.
I’ll run by the store and get some calibration solution and see if they have a higher end one in stock

I love the black background, it's great to do if you have small or medium size plants to move in front of it.

The rest of the plants in the grow are going to be impossible for me to do that, so they are going to have to be just pulled out and isolated in the grow room as best I can. They are far too big and heavy to try to move around without tipping them over, or getting stickies all over my clothes, hair and face. LOL

Update: Tricia Seedsman Banana Jealousy
She almost acts as if she's foxtailing. We'll see in the next two weeks. Tricia is a little bigger than Meg, and her buds are far more along than several of the other girls. Lots of sparkly sugar.

She's been giving me problems with leaves yellowing and orange spots the last week or so, unlike all the others who are doing fine. I boosted her cal/mag yesterday.

Absolutely gorgeous!
Perfect shape and size! Nice buds!
I’m getting some tip and leaf edge burn but, this far along I’m not going to worry too bad about it unless it gets worse.
You think yours might just be normal late flower discoloration?

Update: Seedsman Banana Jealousy ending week 6 BONNIE

This is the big girl. She has tie ups all over the place because her branches got too heavy. I took most of the clones off her early on, those are outside.
I do need to get in there and remove a lot of small leaves and stuff from under her to make harvest easier.
Buds galore on this girl.

Yeah, I think so. I always see the tips get a little brown at this stage, and I'm not going to pay much attention unless it gets farther up the leaves.
The differences in the buds with them all being the same strain is interesting.

It's like a sick game. Now I'm just to the point where I will calibrate them before each use. Realizing I've been a little heavy on ph down lately. Most don't worry about pH at all. But I'm on a well and it does fluctuate a bit.

UPDATE: Seedsman Banana Jealousy Ending week 6 Frannie

Frannie is going great, she has a lot of tie ups as well. She's not real tall, but she makes up for that in flowers.
Frannie is one of the twins from the twin seed.

2 more to go, and then on to the RQS x Tyson 2.0 girls.
