Lol. I hate my dog when I do shrooms. It’s like they know. Nothing but looks of disappointmentSo, let me give you just a couple highlights of my trip.
First of all, I had only mild nausea. Once this kicked in completely (about 45 minutes or so, I'm guessing), I forgot all about that.
I kicked back on the couch and chose a comedy-ish movie I had not seen yet, "Cocaine Bear".
First of all the colors were so vivid, and I know that wasn't my TV setting. I was completely absorbed in that. The first time that bear let out a loud gnarly growl it almost blew my ears out. I had to turn the tv volume way down while I watching. Every loud sound was amplified ten fold Unusual for me, my hearing is very bad. LOL
I immediately found myself sympathetic to that Bear, and wanted it to have what it was looking for! Every time it approached a human with that look, I spoke for it with a giggle saying "Give me what I want, and I'll go away", which is a reference to a Stephen King movie called "Storm of the Century". I didn't even realize I was doing that until.......
.......I noticed my cats were eyeing me warily, and it made me really nervous...especially when I saw one of them walking toward me with what appeared to be 8 legs. Every time I stood up I felt like I had just stood up in a boat on the lake rocking back and forth with the colorful waves. That didn't bother me too much, I spent many years fishing in boats that rocked with the waves.
The next movie up was "Mars Attacks". I've never had such a laughter fest in all my life as I had when Grandma said "They blew up congress!" I couldn't stop laughing. My fascination with the Martians was out of control.......those brains.....the way they seemed to float when they walked. And......Yep, I was singing that damned Slim Whitman song "I am calling youuuu...ooo...oooo" laughing like crazy. The cats went into hiding somewhere, and didn't come back out until that was all over.
All in all, it lasted about 4 1/2 hours, I'm still guessing....... I was quite a happy shroomer. Took me back to the Me Decade of the seventies for a while.
The cats are still looking at me funny this morning.......
Hello so what's stopping you from using coffee or even hot chocolate with your mushrooms. Why do you gotta use tea
Does it matter what kind of tea black tea, green tea, herbal tea, caffeine free
Guess it sounds better than mushroom coffee.
Always wanted to try growing mushrooms but I don't care for the upset stomach, had a hiatal hernia in my early 20s so I have enough heartburn
Looks like you got a handle on it. I can grow a mean stink mushroom they seem to come up every year now.
Because of the nickname dog dick I know they sprouted when I see the hoard of fliesAnd those "stink" mushrooms come up here every year too. They give me giggles every time I find them.
Around here it's "Doggy". I have a photo, but I don't think it's allowed.Because of the nickname dog dick I know they sprouted when I see the hoard of flies
Lemon Tek is fun, works too. Limoncello for extra zingNothing stopping you at all. I might try it with coffee, but not the hot chocolate. LOL Hmmmm....mushrooms and mini marshmallows...yuk.
The tea is supposed to be good for those who get upset tummies with just eating the mushrooms. It is supposed to be much less of the nausea. I had read this online yesterday morning:
Mushroom Tea
"Mushroom tea and Lemon Tek have similar methods of preparation, as the magic mushrooms are first converted to a fine powder. As mentioned earlier, this helps one to avoid the stress from the mechanical breakdown of chitin. The powdered mushroom is then placed in hot water for up to 25 minutes to bring psilocybin into the solution.
The solution is then strained out to make it more optimal for people who are susceptible to nausea. It’s worth noting that this method of preparation brings a faster onset of action and minimizes nausea sensation, unlike directly ingesting or chewing magic mushrooms."
For the tea, use whatever you have. However it is suggested to use caffeine free so the caffeine doesn't get in the way of what the shrooms are doing. Soaking the mushrooms in Lemon is supposed to suppress the nausea too. A process called "Lemon Tek". (not scientifically proven)
I'm currently working on a magic mushroom gravy with the leftover tea......
And those "stink" mushrooms come up here every year too. They give me giggles every time I find them.
Look up Stinkhorn. ( Phallaceae) That's actually what they are called.I have never heard of the Funghi you speak of. I’m off to google
