Kundal1n1's - Soil - Multi-Strain - 2016

Solara got chopped last night.
I'm betting on the rest being female.
The staring at "balls" the last grow has trained me in knowing the sex easier. :)
So my guess is 1 male, 3 female.
Even though the other ones aren't showing pistils except for Celesta. Makes sense?
I'm happy I'll finally be able to enjoy the bluemystic flavour. :)

Day 39 update.

Status report from the fields of green.
Solara: compost
Celesta: pistilicious
Gabriela: unknown Droid
Luna: unknown Droid
Me: tired.

Watered the plants today. No nutes no nothing. Just rainwater I store in a barrel outside.
I caught the weirdest looking red spider looking mite. It was almost half a centimeter big. It was on Lunas leaves. D that creeped me out, I squished it.
Luna is showing signs of something on the newer leaves.
Discoloration etc, wonder if the mutant red mite had anything to do with that. Feel free to check the attached picture. Other than that the plants are doing well. They are getting ready for flowering.

Hmm could it be that those yellow spots are caused by water droplets and the light burning the plants because of it? I did notice because of the intense foliage, that when leaves cover eachother there seems to be some transpiratie happening and there were some drops on a couple of the leaves because of it.
Just my 2cents. What do you folks think?
Goodnight!

Looking good over here :) I wouldn't worry about that red spider you seen, if there was only one I doubt it was mites. I am leaning more towards it being just a baby spider, it is that time of year and the babies do come out red when they hatch. I had one the other day actually crawling along the edge of one of my buckets but that was the only one, I still have no bug issues.

Those spots on the leaves could very well be from the light coming down on the moist areas like you said. The spots don't look rusty or anything in the picture so that's a good sign. Have they changed any or stayed the same since? It has been a couple days now so if they are still looking the same you're fine :)

Ahh interesting, baby spider hmm hmm.
And yes the plant looks the same still.
The only thing that has changed is the ever increasing odor. I'm thinking there must be a leak somewhere because the goddess smell is coming past the scrubber. I'm seriously considering venting outside for the summer grows. So far only one female. I can't say for sure about the others.

Still looking healthy :) So bushy its hard to tell which plant is where haha Keep up the good work!

Yes! They are filling up the space nicely.
I'm thinking of switching them to 12/12 at the end of this week. I got a thing of organic bloom nutes.
Still only one plant with pistils..
But one, better than none! :)

Everything is looking amazing :) I love the smells.... to bad everybody else doesn't hehe. The plants look happy as shit in there... keep it up buddy.

Yes love the smells too. :) just concerned for when there's guests over. Trying to really keep a low profile here.
Thanks for stopping by!

There's only one plant left, Celesta the bluemystic.
She's showing pistils. Although she might be a hermie.
I saw something that didn't look like female preflower on her. I wonder why my male ratio is so high. I don't understand. I look forward to getting some feminized seeds though this summer. Right now I'm just going to focus on this plant. She might need a bigger pot. I'll grow her out a bit more. I'm feeling pretty sad that I had to take down the others. They did have balls showing. Or maybe I was wrong and I chopped some females. Feeling confused. And a little lost. It's late 1.30 am. Going to sleep now. Goodnight folks.

Day 43.

Feeling a bit better after a good sleep about the circumstances of the tent. I also realize that I can get just one plant to fill it entirely. With chopping the others I had a chance to look at the roots and my god. They filled up the whole 5 gal pots already.
So for Celesta, my one and only female I'm thinking of potting her up into a bigger container and maybe giving her a little more time to grow out. That way I can fill the whole tent with just one big plant. :thumb:
I did some more LST on her last night to even out the canopy and spread the branches for optimal light absorption and coverage in the tent. I can tell you. She's loving the space. Smells are next to none now.

Here she is, 8hr after LST and taking out her macho brethren. Celesta, the lone rider, the bluemystic.

Looking good man:thumb: what size pot are you gonna go with? If you have the time and space I say let her grow into a tree

Hehe yes trees for the win! I'm not sure yet about pot size. It might be a Rubbermaid storage bin. Those rectangular ones.. if it fits the tent that is. I've been looking around the house for bigger pots but the biggest I have are only slightly bigger than what she is in now and they are terracotta so superheavy to carry. Another option is going to the store and getting a big plastic pot they use for big indoor plants or trees.

I've got a 9 and a 18 gallon tote I've been wanting to use and my C99 is going into the 9gal in about a month.

Well Kundal, I am sorry to hear about the other 2. You should be able to get a decent yield from that girl now though with all the experience you have been getting lately. I say yes to letting it grow out another couple of weeks and make more potential bud sites. Just remember that once you flip to flower she will likely double in size :)
