KingJohnC's Brainstorm Haze Soil Indoor Grow Journal

Love the videos KJC. I think I am having an issue with firefox, something about flash not being enabled for the site. i had to go to yewtube to find the vid, but I am sure that is just some issue I am having. You have a great voice for video production. I like the pace of your explanations. Great work my friend :)

Get Chrome, mate. Firefox can be a pain in the ass. Used it for a very long time, but been using Chrome for the last year or so, with few to no issues.

the "brownie" looking medium is a General Hydroponics Rapid Rooter mat cut into individual squares. after having bad germination rates with Jiffy peat moss pellets I was looking for a different medium to root seeds in and Labexperiment tried Rockwool and Rapid Rooters. 5 seeds were placed into water in a cup until tap roots were visible then placed into either Rockwool or Rapid Rooters. all of the 3 seeds in the Rapid Rooters took root. none of the Rockwool planted seeds survived.

Subd king john! What will the experiment seek to discover, prove, or disprove?........I'm quite medicated, so If I missed some of the intro please excuse me!

Brainstorm Haze will be used for a seed cabinet seed production run, hopefully this time the timing for when pollen is released and when a maximum number of white pistils are present will be optimized.

So you feel this a good product so far ? Looking to nail down my seed starting for my next grow as autos are up. I want to use something like this as you can put the cube in my 3 gal pot and not have to ever replant.

using the General Hydroponic Rapid Rooter mat has greatly increased my successful germination rate. for the cost of less then 30 cents per seed is cheap insurance for me to ensure my expensive seeds are given the best chance of a successful germination. the Rapid Rooter mat appears to keep the seed with the proper amount of moisture to germinate.

great work on the vids KJC those seedlings are looking great

I shall give it try because yes 30 cents to save a 10-20 dollar seed is worth it :thumb:
