Always more fun to be had! Love me gadgets. RR, If you ever wanna drop a picture here just for fun you certainly can. I am just warming up to take some pictures tomorrow, my babies are sleeping now. I hope to seem sex bits soon too. Reg seeds, always the waiting game for the pistil.

Ran into some issues at the start of flower but things seem to be turning around now after a few BAS craft blend teas. Both are 67 days old, I think the StressKiller will be ready in another 2 weeks. Royal Jack is going to need more time, she didnt start flowering until week 6.
From sample tests the StressKiller is like nothing I've had before.Very uplifting and motivating without the anxiety or paranoia. RQS sells it as a high CBD Sativa. This could become a more common site in my garden, great day time meds.

Thank you so much for the Photo drop RR:thanks:
I really appreciate them.
I didnt mean to pressure you into it. I thought you might like to share the flowers. They look great.

I wish I had this flower right now in my tent, just that one single cola. Yes! I can almost smell them thru the screen.

Re: KelticBlue's 2017 - Soil - Ace Seeds Pure Pakistan Chitral Kush x Kali China Yunn

I am hoping this sprout becomes the star of the show! Whilst I was gonna a new sprout moved above the surface.
I announce the arrival of Zamal-delica, 'Zamal-D' or ZD for short. ; - )

It is so cute! I think I buried it to deep when I dropped it.
CIMG94881.jpg

But it looks great, stout little sprout, just like i like.

ACE seeds Zamaldelica
CIMG94891.jpg
from the ACE description
Zamal is an exotic african sativa from La Reunion Island, close to Madagascar, famous for its extreme vigor and legendary psychedelic effect.

An excellent Zamal mother selected for its trippy effect, fast flowering and remarkable sweet carrot and floral fragrances, was pollinated by the powerful Golden Tiger in order to create Zamaldelica, a super sativa hybrid with strong uplifting and lysergic effect and amazing vigorous growth.

CIMG94901.jpg
Zamal x Malawi/Thai.
Extremely bushy sativa of medium height.
Sweet carrot, mango, orange, flowers and resins.
Very powerful, refined effect of premium quality. Clear, euphoric, stimulating and soaring. Very psychedelic in certain cases.

Now have a look at what has become the work horse of my tent. my ACE and CannaBioGen cross.
Wife likes this one it always goes quickly.

Here is the pair of them-- reg seeds with the 'bigger seed' in front. ~2.5 inch
CIMG9492.jpg

The bigger seed, I see the beginning of a deficiency. Not sure what I am gonna do. :MoreNutes:
CIMG9493.jpg

The smaller seed looks good to me. It is branching more than its partner. They are both going to get a prune of the lower branches in an effort to direct growth toward the main cola, single cola style growth.
CIMG9494.jpg

This is the bigger seed inter node branches, gonna pinch these tomorrow.
CIMG94991.jpg

Awright I think this is the smaller seed. loosing track here....
CIMG9503.jpg

.........I hope to get a little stretch up after pruning, then I am just gonna flip and let it run.
CIMG9501.jpg
:cheertwo:
:high-five:
I get back home next wed so prolly flip on Thru Dec 14 to 11/13.

Re: KelticBlue's 2017 - Soil - Ace Seeds Pure Pakistan Chitral Kush x Kali China Yunn

For only 2-3 inches high your little girls sure are packing a punch. I really like that tight spacing, something I am noticing more now with the COB's. How high are you keeping your lights from top of your girls?
And no worries Keltic, there was no pressure. Thanks for letting me drop a few photos. Always feels good to be able to share something you spend so much time on. Now hopefully I have a macro lens coming from Santa for some good tric porn shots.

Re: KelticBlue's 2017 - Soil - Ace Seeds Pure Pakistan Chitral Kush x Kali China Yunn

good thinkin.....
i have not measured the lights recently. i have the containers off the ground till the sprouts get 'hardened off'. i could probably drop those first 2 sprouts today. the ground/floor gets cold this time of year i have styrofoam down for them but they are raised off that right now.
.......if i recall 15-16 inches to soil top.{38-40cm.} i will try to measure today, & i will probably forget.

i am actually up right now because i heard the lights click on:yikes:

today i have to pinch off the side shoots and will probably aloe the places i pinch. i leave again sunday evening so i got 2 more days in the tent.
:surf:
:yummy:

Re: KelticBlue's 2017 - Soil - Ace Seeds Pure Pakistan Chitral Kush x Kali China Yunn

I just realized I uploaded this morning and did not post.
First of it the measuring stick soil to lights, good idea RR!
about 20 inches, and the pot is on about 3-4 inch lift off the ground. so max height is 23 inches soil to lights.

Re: KelticBlue's 2017 - Soil - Ace Seeds Pure Pakistan Chitral Kush x Kali China Yunn

Then I did some pruning of the lower branches on the ACE x CannaBioGen cross. I forget how old they are, 2 weeks plus by now I think. They should be able to handle the prune.
CIMG9511.jpg

CIMG9510.jpg

I dropped fresh aloe on the pinch sites, in a effort to protect the wounds.

Re: KelticBlue's 2017 - Soil - Ace Seeds Pure Pakistan Chitral Kush x Kali China Yunn

That's the sweetest thing ever. Aloe to protect the sites. :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

I love the touch of color showing up in Zamaldelica's leaves. My DDAs do that, and the DC does too. So cool, eh?

I'm glad you dropped them here RR. We hear about your garden all the time. Now we know it's real. :laughtwo: They're beautiful. :hugs:

I figured he might like to share a picture or 2. Ya know if ya got them, no need for a journal. And RR is super cool to share his plants with us. especially when the plants are doing well because I cannot troubleshoot problems very well...

The Aloe on the prune sites is something I have done for some time. I do it when I top as well. Not sure it makes a difference. And not sure if I got the idea from somewhere or not.

I have a big aloe plant I need to trim it back tooo. I gots to use it somewhere.:rollit:

Tent is dry in humidity, running right about 75'F and in the 30% humidity. I have a gallon of water in a dish in the tent and a small room humidifier out side the tent. I do not want to put any additional electrical devices in the tent. The little sprinkling of snow did not change the humidity at all.

I wonder if the color in the Zamal-D leaf is from the low temps at night, 65' is the lowest I have seen in the tent this week.

I am gonna look around there might be purple malawi in the Zamal-D. I think I read it somewhere.

Edit: I knew I had seen a purple malawi, it is in violeta. but ZD has killer malawi which is a green pheno, there is also a purple zamal which i believe is something new and not in the history of ZD. It could just be the night temps or a trick of the light.

Re: KelticBlue's 2017 - Soil - Ace Seeds Pure Pakistan Chitral Kush x Kali China Yunn

I woke up this morning and found one tent at 27% And I just remembered I didn't turn on the humidifier in the other tent. :laughtwo:

Let me go tend to that. Lol!

It has been a loosing battle here.:surrender:
I now worry I have too moist soil for the sproutling in the SIP. gee zoo it stays so wet.
I may have to go back to starting in solo cups and all that.

gonna take a long hot shower, usually raises it a point. :surf:

This is so funny. :laughtwo: The DC sits in the bathroom, and when I shower every day she gets her blast of humidity from the close-by rainstorm. Lol! It gets so dry in here during the winter months. When the humidifiers go on sale in Feb. I'll grab another big one for the living room. It'll probably dramatically change my skin health.

Re: KelticBlue's 2017 - Soil - Ace Seeds Pure Pakistan Chitral Kush x Kali China Yunn

Thanks for the kind words Keltic. It's fun to share photos every now and then. Also these girls were looking a little rough coming into flower so wasn't something I was really wanting to share lol. Was really lacking calcium which really caused so many other issues. The Royal Jack didn't want to flower. It made pre flowers but just sat that way for maybe 10 days. Thankfully Bo alway has awesome info on his page and with a few simple searches and his go to kelp tea that really helped turn things around. Also the craft blend from BAS and their Big 6 micro nutrient those combined in a tea WOW saw results in under 24 hours.
StressKiller got the axe yesterday. I checked on her in the morning and started to see some Amber. I've heard its best to cut high CBD plants a tad early as CBD depletes as it matures. Yesterday was 72 days for her.
With the chop of her starts the next round. Dropped three seeds in some water and set up 3, 3 liter pots for their 2 week veg.
One of them being Krishna Kush from Colorado Seed Inc. These are the beans I picked up at Spannabis. I've been waiting 9 months to sprout them. Just hope I get a Female!

Humity issues really suck, and even worse with a small grow! I wish I had your low RH problems. Exact opposite here.
So what made you decide on the SIP? I've seen the kits on BAS wish they had something more square pot. What they offer now is just a little too big. Guessing its going to be a big help though while you're on your travels. Just filler her up and off you go. Thanks for the info on your light distance. These new sprouts are going to be a little lower than I would want but since the Royal Jack is still flowering thats just how it has to be. Seems these girls really love growing into the COBs, shes 10 inches away now and showing no signs of stress.

Good thing about 600sq.ft you're never really too far from the bathroom :laughtwo:
(We live in a 850sq.ft, so I share your growing pains)

Re: KelticBlue's 2017 - Soil - Ace Seeds Pure Pakistan Chitral Kush x Kali China Yunn

I live in 725 sq. ft. It's only me though, and there's just enough room for me and the girls. :battingeyelashes: I need another 2x2. Lol!
