She is looking much better :thumb: :circle-of-love: I would personally wait a week or so while getting over a deficiency before doing anything else as she needs all of her energy from those leaves to help her recover. She will reward you later 😉 :green_heart:
My flower period just keeps getting pushed further and further lol.. this thing sprouted July 16th smh.. at least she’ll be nice and strong for it.

Do you think it will be okay in the 3 gallon smart pot? I know the fabric is supposed to help prevent root bound plants, but is that forever or will the plant eventually become root bound regardless?

I have to add it to my water as a base as my tap water has an EC of 0.1 so it doesn't have hardly anything in it.
I would probably feed calmag every other water if you notice the deficiency continuing in the next week or so.

She did look like she liked it though :thumb:

Much love :circle-of-love: :passitleft:

She did indeed.. she’s blowing up.. although I did get a chance to see actual light burn 🤣 I don’t know if you can see it in these images but I can see a yellow outline running across the canopy in spots that look just like a spotlight is shining on them. I had it somewhere between 41-45 DLI and it didn’t like it so I took it down to 35 and will leave it there since it’s reaching up again.

You're very good at this! I agree with all you mentioned. I use ro water so that takes away all minerals. Mag is important and I would have to add something. I used the wrong lime in my soil mix that had less mag than the proper dolomite lime the recipe calls for. That caused me to have to add epsom evert pot up until I figured what I did wrong. So yes, if mag is an issue now it''l be one later too.
The curling and yellowing leaf tips look to be a little too close to the light.
Yes to the new one looking light around the veins, the sooner the better.
Lastly, give them a day or two to recover from the 7 day drought. Then look at the new growth to see if you actually have an issue.

Todays images.. not much going on.. the big one has just been resting and recuperating.. she’s getting her color back and coming back online.. the little guy is hauling ass to catch up, one more week and it will be 30 days.. I’m getting ready to take its fan leaves then tie down the growth to prep it for flower. It’s looking like a female, haven’t seen male parts yet which is a good sign, still in the danger zone though so positive vibes lol.

Color is deepening throughout the new growth.. Watered her this morning.. calmag in the water since she was showing hints of purple in the new growth stems, and I doubt one dose was going to be enough to recover from her original deficiency. She took almost a gallon but only had a few mls of runoff so she’s taking more water faster now and the color is improving. Still have yellow tips appearing at 30-32 DLI, we’ll see what happens after this second calmag dose with that.

Todays pics.. she’s definitely back into the swing of things and is taking off.. she’s put on 2 inches in the last few days.. had to pull the colas back to keep them all along the same plane across the canopy.. contemplating whether I should defoliate the secondary growth tips along with the fan leaves or leave them.. some of them have reached almost as high as the canopy. I have the space and the light so I may just leave them and see what happens, I haven’t decided.

Here is an image of one of the main colas for my manifold. I am holding a growth that is coming off the main cola. Each of the 8 main colas have these growths, and on each cola, 2 of the growths are almost canopy level. Am I supposed to prune these growths to make sure the main colas resources aren’t being diverted, or is that done for space reasons? You can see in the final picture that there are far more than the 8 main colas vying for space lol.

Currently I am just bending the main colas back away from the center so they stay even across the top and so light can hit more surface area of the plant. I have enough room to just let it go but I’m not sure if that will take away from the main colas growth.

She looks tired this morning.. Temps plummeted and my heaters range is apparently either 74-80 or 55-60.. once the temperate broke below 70 it fell to 61.. which is better than the 60 the night earlier, but each night I set my heater after testing it but it just isn’t having it. I’m gonna have to figure this out today.

So I believe what is occurring is I have a sativa dominant strain, and an indica dominant strain. The indica rises up and is always eagerly soaking up light when I come in.. The main plant however always seems to look a little tired or down until mid afternoon. Not to mention it’s leaves are longer and thinner and it’s growth has been far less bushier and more reaching. I believe it’s going to be temperature related.. the big girl really kicks into gear when it’s 80-85 in the room which takes a little while to reach each day, but the indica is already firing since the temperatures average around 75ish. Anecdotal observations. I’ve attached pictures of both, now that the temp is up the plant is getting up

Todays update.. Gave the big manifold female a bit of a trim.. took off some side branches and their fan leaf towards the bottom where it was getting really bushy. Light wasn’t fully penetrating, and quite a few leaves were laying on top of each other.

Took the little plant and chopped its first nodes off and tied em down. It took it well. Both are close to being flipped flower now. Looking like mid-end of the week.
