KB Follows The Hi Brix Road In DBHBB

Drenches are 1-2 ml per gallon of soil with the exception of the cat drench which is 1ml. So in my 15s I feed 30 ml of TP and GE but only 15ml of cat.
Brix is 1ml to 1oz of h2o (if you have snake oil and a strain the would use it, add 1/4 ml per ml of brix)
Distress is 1/2 ml to 1oz of h2o

1oz is approx 30ml, Gazoo will tell you it's 29.46 or something like that, we love how exact he is!

So, starting to notice more rust spots on leaves and some color differences between top of plant and bottom and decided to take a look at the roots. Not as fine of root hairs as I've seen with other brixers but thinking maybe transplant into bigger pots soon?

Wow...yes Killer,...those roots are very , very well developed sir! Just what you should be very happy to see. Yes, transplant right now OK...they are more than ready and will explode when transplanted . Very good job Killer...you got it now.....first drink at transplant should be ,...yup , you got it,...a Transplant Drench with Tea. Enjoy your Sunday bud......:passitleft:

Those are some nice, healthy roots, Brother! :welldone:

Thanks guys, luckily my larger tent came in yesterday. I wasn't anticipating transplanting this early but I think they need it. The bigger of the two has shown preflowers and is definitely a lady :yahoo:not sure on thing #2 but will have to find out once they get a chance to stretch the roots.

They will both go into 10 gal pots, totally don't have the saucers for them but I'm sure I can figure something out. Time to tinker with the grow room once I get home from work :D.

Ok, managed to get the tent set up and transplant in the same day. Plants have gone into 10 gals pots and I watered with 15 mil trans/gal. Went with a heavier feed because of how the plants looked. Guessing they were mostly rootbound and needed to stretch their legs.

Went ahead and flipped the timer to 11/13 the same day. I already see a little bit of improvement the next day. Still much to learn for this young grasshopper.

Morning KB, I hope you're doing well. Got a question for ya... Just want to check. You used 15ml TP in how much water? Also, I didn't see you mention using any Tea in that drench... 15ml should take around 1.5ml Tea as well and the 10gal pots usually need more like 1.5 gallons water. At any rate, your ladies are looking good! They should perk up and get some deeper color pretty soon!

So it should look like this: 15ml TP + 1.5ml Tea in 1.5gal water per 10 gal pot.

Only had 2 gal so gave 1 gal each. I realized I should have used more more water after the fact and didn't have any extra available. Was really just copying how doc transplanted in your cooperative grow with him. Prob need to hit with brix today then can maybe do a light watering the day after that?

Edit* sorry it was darks journal, I always get y'all's username confused.

Ah I see, Doc uses 7gal pots mostly... you're using 10. They will be ok but maybe use 1.5 gal here out, that seems to be about right. What about the Tea? Did you add any of that to the drench?

No, I would just let them dry out. Maybe someone with more experience can speak up too but pretty sure you'd be better off letting them dry up and then water again. It's not a huge deal, but that tea does help keep the micro heard going strong.

No didn't add any tea because doc didn't first feed after transplant. Honestly not sure how the tea benefits the plants, have any insight? I know trans helps the roots and GE helps the plants growth.

Got it when, will let them dry out. Another thing I'm stumped on is when to water straight RO? Do we only want to do that when everything seems to be going well or...

The tea is for the microbial colony

Straight RO or RO with 1/4 trans between every drench except the cats.

I think Daj is a little high with 1.5ml of tea per each plant. The directions call for 2.5ml with each drench for 6 plants which is about 42 gallons of soil and you have about 20 so 1.25 for both or .625 each, don't need to be exact but high doses of tea can be bad.

Ah yes, thanks Ween... Typo on my part. I did indeed mean 1.5 for both but you’re right 1.25ml would be better.
Yea KB you need to use that tea with every Drench... keeps the microbes happy. That probably why you have the spots on the leaves... soil is going flat from not feeding the heard. And dunking them doesn’t hurt the microbes at all, if anything they love the oxygen exchange that occurs.
Edit: wanted to also mention that I’m pretty sure doc wouldn’t skip the tea. He may not have mentioned it but that’s only because he probably just forgot to put it down. I can’t see a scenario where you wouldn’t use it with a Drench. But I’m still pretty new to this so maybe someone can clarify.
