JustMeds R & D

Just got a chance to have another quick look in here. Still looking excellent.

Within a few months down the road I will be looking into making some led lights. Seems this will be a good place to keep watching for ideas on that. I had planned on putting together qb120 boards because they don't seem to need fans/heat sinks and the price on those little boards was reasonable. Are your heat sinks just sheets of Aluminum? It is a bit hard to tell from the pictures.

I thought about ordering some Chinese strips and making a board but have read about lots of issues with people getting them with less then desirable quality diodes.

Send me a PM if you are planing on the QB route. I see a bunch more in my future. The heat sinks are real heat sinks not just sheet Aluminum.

You can get a little extra mileage with autos if you clone them after topping. I had good luck with a WW auto clone.

WTH... the app won't let me post a pic from my 420 photo folder?

Laptop to the rescue! The White Widow clone is in soil with Gold Leaf in the RDWC.

After cloning the Auto did it finish the same time as mom? or did it extend it out.

If it has a top freezer, try turning it on if you have it off, I know when I turned my freezer off my fridge temps dropped, so I turned it back on. You want to be in the low 40 degree range without opening it but once or twice a day.

I am hoping with the new PID controller it will be like a RONCO .... Set it and forget it.

The first run of autos I did i pulled 3-4 ounces off of every one. Even the one that turned out to be a photo strain :laughtwo: After that my yields went down considerably.

I am thinking that is about what I will get off the other one. It is a weeeeee bit bigger.

It extended it out considerably. Mom was hanging in the drying box by the time the clone was in flower.

Forgot to mention yesterday I topped the Super Lemon Haze and the 2 Kwazulu plants. Plan to grab some clones from them in the next day or so.

If you let your plants grow another set of leaves or more then top where you'd normally do so you could clone the tops and have a clone with symmetric growth.

I like to clone the lower older branches. When I top it is just enough to stop the apical growth.

I like the head start cloning a healthy top gives me.
This is a WW clone after a couple of weeks of growth.
The plant it was topped from is the pic below this one.

I may have to give it a shot, will have to wait now..... LOL

Tonight we also cut 2 clones from each of the Super Lemon Haze and the 2 Kwazulu plants. Clonex and into GroDan blocks. We then up potted them to 10 gallon containers. They will spend a few days in the Veg tent then its off to the flower tent. I am hoping for a better percentage of females on these then the last go round.

I did not remember to get root pics of the first one but did the last 2.

Then we have a pic of the some what crowded VEG tent.

Don't get a real big head on me, but coming from you it means a lot man.

Lets start tonight off with her pic. I think she is starting to look pretty good. 28 days from flip to 12/12

It's got that fake look to it. Just a little too shiny to be "normal." Know what I mean?

On a serious note, you've grown plants before. Does this plant not vibrate differently? I don't know how else to say it. Your brix is up, the plant is full of minerals and sugars, the soil is alive and just where it's supposed to be. This is what the plant will do when it's really happy and the roots are good.

Speaking of roots, I think I've got to check a few posts down from this......

Nice roots! I'd say your getting the hang of this.
But holy cow, your flowering plant is just gorgeous.
