Justin Goody's Sponsored Journal: Featuring NextLight & Dope Seeds Gelato & Zkittlez

Brought these ladies out to do a little inspection, a little defol, and secure all the training wires before they go back in for the big push. I want to make sure they fit together nicely so they can be accessed and rotated regularly.

Out of their tents, they might not look like much. But these will make a name for themselves before it's all over...

I think I can see where one fits into the other in the tent! :Rasta:

Totally, they got kind of triangle shaped fighting for space.
They look even better out of the tent!
Kind of you to say, sir.
I like the way this light has made very little larf to trim so far. Most of the branches were able to find their way through and made lots of great foundation for bud sites.
The Gelato is a bit shorter so it's on a few blocks back there, I don't want it to stretch I want it to stack.

Girls are looking healthy and making a nice transition into flower.
DS Day 41.JPG

Trying to keep this canopy nice and even, so I've been doing whatever I need to do, including some bending. And with bending, sometimes comes SNAPping.
DS Day 41 Broken.JPG

Oops. Oh well, nothing a little carpenter glue and tape can't fix up.
Can barely even see where it happened now.
DS Day 41a.JPG

Mistakes/breaks will happen. The best way to deal is to have the stuff ready to fix it within your reach. No panic, just re-set the branch like a bone, put on a splint, and get back to the needs of the plant as a whole. If this branch doesn't make it, there are plenty to take it's place. But it will likely be fine as long as it's held on by even a tiny bit of stem.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
We are snowed in, here- kind of cool since we live on the beach.
Oh damn, now I just have to stay home and get stoned all day:headbanger:

We’ve been snowed in here for the last three days....LOVING it. :roorrip:

I hear Everett even got snow! Lots of happy people in WA state right now. :cheesygrinsmiley:
They definitely did, I can see Everett across the water from my house and it's white (well you can’t see it right now lol)

On topic pic ;)

I don't mind a few days of snowed in, as long as it's not a month, it starts to get old...But this is very enjoyable for us and the dogs.

I like the way these are really filling out the tent- everyone seems to be ok sharing space at the moment
DS Day 43 big (1).JPG

Took them out for a minute to do a little cleanup/bending and assess the situation

As you can see, they are quite different in size, but the gelato is definitely making up for it with bud sites and weight already

Now to get that canopy nice and even so @NextLight can work it's magic, evenly

Coming right along on schedule, these ladies are gonna be packing on real weight soon.
Have a great week, growers!

My, they grow up so fast!

Looking awesome, Justin. :Rasta:

Thanks GDB, they really do...it's crazy I've only been on this forum for 11 months and I've grown a crazy amount of autos (pretty successfully) in that time. And these ones are only about a month from being done themselves. Autos are great.
The next grow will have different soil, lights, and nutrients (@GeoFlora Nutrients) and may bring a few more challenges. I enjoy getting out of the comfort zone and making real comparisons for the users here and for myself...I never know what might be the key to getting the tastes I'm after unless I try new methods.

I agree about trying new methods. I'm in the middle of my first GeoFlora grow now and have had no issues yet.

One thing is certain, if you seek something that's even easier to use than MegaCrop, then GeoFlora is a good candidate!

Wow, even easier? I thought that was impossible :laughtwo:
I figured a 2 part sounded like something in my ballpark, after considering some of the other ones that have 5-8 parts. Not that I can’t use a system like that (used FF for a long time) but now that I’ve tasted the success and simplicity that is MC, it’s tough to even consider an expensive, complex nute lineup.
Geo is easy to get, has great reviews, and is used successfully by several people here. Seems like the logical way for me to go when keeping with our sponsors. Looking forward to the new GeoPots too, I think I’ll be sticking with fabric pots (bigger too) for a while, if not for good.

If taste is what you’re after then organic living soil is the only method to really hunt what you’re after. I honestly used to doubt that weed could be so flavorful, then I took a dive into living organics. I believe living organic is achievable using geoflora. Unless... are the nutrients water soluble or not?

your two autos look completely stellar after the stretch
