Looks similar to the thrip damage that I am dealing with right now. The bigger darker bugs not sure about them? They appear to be much larger than mites or thrips. Have you looked at the underside of the leaves? Thrips and mites are very small, about the size of a pin point. You need to get a small digital microscope and take some pics of the bugs. If you can post some close up pics maybe we could help identify them. Then figure out how to deal with them or leave them alone? I have little critters in my LOS pots, It is normal for Living Organic Soil. I have sprayed my plants in flower before and regretted it, effed up the pistils and adds chemicals or soap to the buds, learning experience... You also may want to consider adding some beneficial insects, like Rove Beetles. Also if your Brix levels are high, above 12, the bug infestation pressure may stay low.I have 6 plants in my current grow, 4 of the plants have high Brix levels between 15 -20, 2 of the plants have low Brix levels, around 8. I am seeing Thrip damage and Thrips on the low Brix plants and not seeing any Thrips on the High Brix plants and very minimal leaf damage.'Tui', my Trainwreck from @Canuk Seeds
The soil was a little dry, and the leaf tips were starting to point down, so I gave her 10ltrs of water pH 6.4
While I was doing that, I turned her around and I noticed some bug damage on a leaf.
I got a pic of the offending party... and a resident spider.
Not sure what it is, or what to do, I don't really want to spray at this point. Any suggestions?
I'm thinking thrips, looking at the leaf damage, and I think the brown guys live in the soil and come up with the watering.Looks similar to the thrip damage that I am dealing with right now. Yes you never spray the buds with the Dr. Bonner’s. Only the leaves is what you want. CLLooks similar to the thrip damage that I am dealing with right now. The bigger darker bugs not sure about them? As long as you’re careful avoiding any buds it’s alright. If you’re growing a long flowering Sativa I’m going to try my best @ salvaging as much as possible. I prolly wouldn’t mind too much if growing something else though. I dispise pests, lazy little bastards need to grow their own. CLYeah, I don't think I will ever spray during flower ever again...
Blue sticky traps never seen those before. For the insect control I got diatomaceous earth, spraying oil, and sticky traps. With the oil I just sprayed the bigger leaves top and bottom and avoided the buds. Hopefully it's enough...
Different colours attract different bugs. I decided to go with both just in case.Blue sticky traps never seen those before.

Be careful which oil - our neem is organic but I wouldn't be spraying it on buds. Think @Carmen Ray knows of some organic bud safe stuff. The diatomaceous earth is good though. I don't really. I've fortunately never had the borg. I believe there is not a lot one can do about it. I'm sorry. Sjoe...www.420magazine.com
