Whoo hoo! So you guys have seen the plant plenty. Instead, here’s a very interesting photo of my bud wash set up. Lol. Bathtub appears to be a good spot. Buds will drip into the tub. I figure I’ll cut the plant up, wash the first bucket and hang on the hooks, and while they’re drip drying I can empty bucket one and get bucket two ready. And the five gallon bucket fits perfectly under the bathtub spicket. No lugging buckets of water. Very excited! My first bud wash! @Azimuth, look, I took some of your advice!!! It DOES happen. Lmao!

Yep. Just remember to take a picture of the water in the bucket (not for the coffee table book ;)) before you change it out.

That way you'll have a reminder as to why you did it in case you feel a bit lazier on the next round and think you'll skip it. :cough:

Sorry @Azimuth, even after that discussion I missed the first bucket. That was the filthy one! But here’s the second bucket. The first was five times dirtier. And the last bucket basically did nothing (rinse I guess). And here’s the buds all clean and hanging. Wow. Pretty big auto. Thanks for your help on this.

The deed is done. Once again I trimmed down to as small as I was willing. Even the small and untrimmed buds are crispy, frosty, and quite smokeable. And I am, and I do. Lol! It keeps my greedy lungs off the trimmed buds. They’re for friends and such. Of course when it’s all done I will make a large head stash jar of each strain. Heh.

So….

Here’s the yield. 80 trimmed/72 untrimmed = 152 grams = 5.4 ounces. Again we’re in the 5-6 ounce range, which isn’t bad for the smallest two plants. The quality though….

The terps are strong with this one. They scream at you. Sharp and dank and citrusy and gassy. Lovely smell. And she obviously frosted up sweetly. Buds are dense once again.
And here’s the two in their respective boxes for a different perspective on yield. Included is a shot to show you what these smoke buds look like.

I am very happy with this weed. The indica dusts it on yield I believe (we’ll see), but it’s awesome I’ll have both phenos to compare.

4 down, 4 to go. Trimming on the Watermelon Wedding Cake starts tomorrow night most likely. So far the plants are cooperating beautifully in terms of timing.

I just looked back at the Gorilla Zkittlez yield report and incredibly, both the GZ and the PMC came out to an identical 152 grams!!!

Thanks @Grand Daddy Black! Yeah I’m becoming convinced that the key to an easy trim has nothing to do with strain. It’s about density. Dense buds practically trim themselves. It’s the not so dense ones that suck.
