I bet they'd be happy to talk with you about it given the cover photo plants you regularly produce. Helping their customers reproduce what they advertise would be just good business.

Gorilla Zkittlez Trim Update
This post should not exist. It’s only been 5 1/2 days. But the damn GZ is dry. Combination of a couple things. First, with the record setting heat here, the AC is constantly cranked. Therefore my house RH is too low for drying. I want 60-65%. I’ve got 55-60%. Doesn’t sound like much but it increases the rate of dry. The other factor is that although the GZ buds are dense, many of them (almost all) are small buds. Pain in the ass. Anyway, guess where I’m going? This is a small auto, maybe 4, 4.5 ounces (guessing, based on looking at the volume of what I have to trim). There’s no way on this earth that’s not done today. So this evening I guess I’ll be posting an evening yield report, much to my chagrin. I’ll get my usual 8-10 day dry from the rest of the plants - they are much larger buds, and I may even hook up my tiny humidifier to get the rh to 60%.

I’d borrow the industrial tumbler off the guy next door, but not sure this grow was quite big enough for that. Plus he doesn’t grow and has no tumbler. So hand cranked bowl trimmer it is. Destroying my outer trichome layer is the only way I roll.That trim bowl probably gives off some heat too the speed tour cranking it, eh Jon?

Based on how loud the terps are screaming, I think this bud will be okay despite the less than preferable dry. Might just take an extra week or two to get tasty or something. Damn little buds. That’s one of the rubs with autos. If I grew the photo version of this plant there would be zero small buds. This auto - all small buds. That was several hours of PITA to get to what I’m about to show you.
So I trimmed until the buds got down to the size of an individual bong hit. At that point I threw in the towel. All are very dense, even the littlest ones. So even the small ones are just like smoking the rest. Tester hits have me way stoned. And the finger hash gets me high like a sativa. The quality is there.
Here’s the pics:
1. The haul of good stuff. (Properly trimmed, for jars). 74 grams.
2. The haul of untrimmed, small, bong hit sized buds which I will smoke. 78 grams.
3. Here’s a closeup of one of the untrimmed buds, the trim I do before smoking and what’s left, and the volume of the bud measured in bong. The trim becomes kief.
4. Here’s the jars we chose for the first plant and the buds - gives you a different perspective on the yield.
5. And of course I saved the best for last. Here’s what the bud actually looks like:
So 152 grams = 5.4 ounces. Call it 5.0 after stabilizing for a week with burping. Like I said, she’s not the best yielder but her quality is spot on. But for what is the smallest of the eight plants, 5 ounces isn’t a terrible start.
Easy trim regardless of the size of the buds.
On we go.

They thought they could get one over on me by not having any way to contact them on the website. No phone, no message spot. But they do have IM. And if you work a bit at that, sure enough, you CAN get a phone number. It’s after business hours but you leave a message and in theory they get back to you when they’re open. Done. Now we wait a little bit and if we don’t hear back we start to make a pain in the ass of ourselves. Don’t worry Azi, I’m on this. I don’t do well with “no.”
