Grow Day 126
Flower Day 66

I have buds falling down all over the place. As the Hulk and the Ghost fatten up, their buds keep getting heavier and heavier and I keep having to add supports. Makes watering a pain in the arse. The Slurricane is also fattening but I guess just cuz of how she grew out, she has needed no supports.

I could have worse problems.

You can see in the pictures that the buds are getting fat as hell now. This end fattening has been more pronounced on these plants than any I've grown in the past. I believe that's due to it pretty much being the first time I brought a whole tent to almost done with ZERO issues, so they're in perfect health. The pretty solid environment for a change doesn't hurt either. In the past I was not able to get the Rh to under 50%. At 35-40% these girls are loving life. Too bad they will soon know death. Lol.

Here's the porn.

Thanks! Yeah they're getting denser for sure. And as they do I just keep finding new ways to support the damn things. I'm about to do a trichome check on them. I know we're not ready on anyone, but let's see where we are. If I can manage any decent pictures I'll post them.

Phototown Trichome Check
Grow Day 127
Flower Day 67

Nobody's ready. Everyone is clear or just getting milky. Two weeks yet. Easy. Maybe a little less. We'll see.

Sorry in advance for the crappy trichome pics, but they're just enough to get the idea.

Good morning grass hopper.
No pebble today, hehe.
How are things in the sun belt today?
There is a lot of amber in that first pic.
How are her pistols?
You really think 2 weeks?

Stay safe

That was the only shot I got any amber in. I took five of that plant, and all the others were like the second pic. So she's just starting to amber up. Maybe less than two weeks. We'll see how long her window stays open. I wanted it to be yesterday. But at least I've learned enough patience to wait on the trichomes. Only took me almost two years of growing. Lol. Don't tell anyone, but patience is a learned skill for me. Not my natural tendency, something I have to fight. Her pistils are colorful as hell and slowly becoming part of the buds. Not curled in yet by far. Still looking like they could use a little haircut. I'll take that as long as they want to keep getting fatter. One advantage to having 18 active plants, 13 of which are in various states of flower, is that you can easily say "they're not ready yet" and wait. You know you have a huge bounty coming regardless...lol. Helps with the patience.

I'll show you the coco girls in a bit in the other journal. They're going gangbusters. Close to 2 1/2 feet tall. I'm going to let them go to three feet before I flip them. Another week maybe ten days. Seems as if they're growth is accelerating.

Hi, I have a question you do not have a tip on how to get rid of moisture, I also have a dehumidifier, but it doesn't help much, I'm still around 70% and I don't know much about it. Thanks for any tip

Hi @Kanno26 - not sure, maybe.

What is your setup like and what is the weather like where you live? (pics of setup of tent or whatever would help)

HARVEST TIME
Phototown
Grow Day 131
Flower Day 71

Guys, we're basically there. It's pretty much harvest time for these girls. I checked the trichs carefully on all three. Tired of the same old trich pics, they all look the same, so I didn't post them. But all the plants are almost 100% pure white with between 5 and 10% amber depending on the plant. I can take any of them any day I want now. I posted three pictures of buds from each plant.

Based on what you guys see in the buds, do you see what I see? I see plants ready to harvest. The Hulk may last a couple days longer as she still has little nublets of new growth here and there. But the Slurricane and Ghost Train Haze could come down right now if I wanted.

And I do. But I can't. Today, the Raspberry Parfait in the outdoor grow journal comes down. That's hours of work for me. On top of watering coco plants on day one of flower and everything else. Nope, not today.

I think I'm going to wait two or three days to let the Hulk finish up a little more. Then, to my immense delight (and surprise), I can actually take them all on the same day and hang them in the tent. Very much my preference. LUCKY doesn't begin to describe this. 3 different strains? Granted, in part I picked them cuz they were supposed to all finish in the same relative time frame, but these are all so close now at the same time it's awesome. Saves me making more boxes than I have to already (Thanks for that one, @InTheShed!) and more importantly by far allows the tent dry.

PSYCHED doesn't do the way I feel any justice. I actually pulled this off. My mouth is on the floor.

Here's the bud porn for all three plants. Tell me if you guys see this any differently than I do based just on seeing the buds, please, if you're inclined to chime in. As usual, I am actively seeking opinions here.

Thanks!

Time to Go Dark?
Trichome Check
Slurricane
Grow Day 132
Flower Day 72

Guys, I would love to know if you see what I see. I see as much amber as I want. I see we may be ready to go dark.

Here's some trichome shots of the Slurricane, who is representative of all the plants. All three pictures are blurry, so my apologies, but I believe in all three you'll see what I see. Please let me know if anyone would like to provide input!!

I am ready to let the lights stay out tonight when they go to bed and unplug my light. She'll appreciate the rest. Lol. I'm tearing up my 50,000 hours. Lmao.

Looks like it time to chop!
Congratulations on another sticky plant taken down, your pumping out plants regularly that are all just
Hey @Rexer, would you happen to have an opinion/experience with knowing whether or not the trichomes progress at all in the dark time?

Opinion? Oh I've always got those- just not certain if or how correct I am.

Trichomes mature and change mainly based upon light to my knowledge.

I've heard many do the darkness to increase the amount of Trichomes. I don't bother to be honest - in my mind any new Trichomes developed during the dark would be clear, and not have THC.
I keep them fed and under light till the moment my scissors snip the buds off the plant(s). That's just the way I do it, doesn't mean it's the correct way.

It would be interesting I suppose to do a microscope check before and after darkness to see if there were actual changes.

Thanks. I pretty much feel the same, debating not doing it and just going at it starting at 5 pm. I could get done by midnight I bet if I start at 5. I just checked again and there's no doubt they're all ready right now. In fact, this might be the best trichome nail I ever did. They're right where I want them - about 10-15% amber, maybe 5-10% on the Hulkberry. I'll take the Hulk when she's primarily all solid, milky white with a few less amber - her THC will be as high as it was going to be on this plant right now. Today, honestly, I think is THE day to get her at her absolute THC peak.

I have to have an internal debate and I can't decide so far. After all this work and love and care I barely want to chop them down. But I'm sure I can muddle through. Lmao.

Beautiful plants you have there @Jon. They all look like they're wearing fur coats!

I'm a somewhat lazy old man. I use the darkness period as a way to put off the chop/trim. If I had three plants ready at the same time I would put 2 in the dark and take down one. Then one the next day and one the next.

Trim House Arrest as opposed to Trim Jail. :Rasta:

I say whichever ones are where you want them, go ahead and take them down - better than missing your window of what you want!

Setting Up the Pews for Church

Guys, some of you may have the mistaken idea that I know what I'm doing. This is simply not so. Without this forum, I don't know a goddamn thing about growing weed. Thanks 420 and all it's members, especially those who have been here. Lol.

You gotta understand....this is my third grow. The first was total rookiesville and you never saw it. The second was my first journal here, which you witnessed as my sweet first scrog attempt went hermie and all I really harvested of note was Sadie, the one Jelly Rancher.

So truth be told and in pure, unadulterated reality, this is my very first REAL tent harvest with actual, worthy of showing you, plants that made it to the end without an issue or a blemish the entire grow.

I don't wish to turn the hyperbole knob up to 11, but this is truly a religious experience for me. We're about to harvest the whole tent, and trim and hang every bud in the tent before I go to bed. Right now.

So here's two pictures of me prepping the pews for the parishioners, and lastly, the very last picture you guys will ever see of this grow in it's living state, after 132 days from seed and 72 in flower and a ton of help:
