Already dying.I assume that's some new cannabis strain growing since that's the same place where the other's came from. But, it looks like a mushroom, so I'm assuming the breeder named it something descriptive.
Bring this to the pitch:
"Genesis 1:29, is the Bible verse that’s oft-repeated by Christians in favor of medical marijuana: 'And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.'"
And some historians suggest that the Healing Oil in the bible is actually cannabis oil based. Something about the "fragrant herb" and other clues. They didn't call it Ganja though, so we can't be sure...

Fulvia and Elora
Flower Day 55
So a few observations at this point. I’m going to go ahead and say that this Fruity Pebble Cookies pre release has given me two distinctly different phenotypes, at least to my eyes. I’d be very curious to hear anyone else’s take on this. I believe Fulvia to be either the indica or hybrid pheno and Elora to be the sativa pheno. Here’s a bud comparison to show you why I feel this way:
1-3. Here are three of Elora’s buds. Note the long, thin (relatively, lmao, these buds are huge), sativa-esque structure. And she is also way less colorful so far than Fulvia too. This tells me Fulvia is finishing faster, which is also patently obvious when you look at the plants. Another piece of anecdotal evidence for the sativa pheno, I’d expect it to take longer and look approximately like these.
4-6. And here’s three pictures of Fulvia buds. See how they’re rounder and bigger? And note how they’re stacking vs the buds on Elora - much more fill nodally speaking and more bud mass per inch of stem. These are more indica-like qualities to my eyes and definitely different than Elora.
So this is a double edged sword. On one hand it’s very cool and even desired to get different phenos when I grow the same strain - if I didn’t want that I’d grow from clone. I like to compare. But on the other hand (and this is big) - I see already that I can kiss hanging these plants in the tent goodbye as one will be done weeks ahead of the other. Then on the other other hand, that’s going to make trim jail a bit more palatable since likely Fulvia will be trimmed before Elora is harvested (I expect around a two weeks difference in finishing time). So I call it a wash. Can’t control it anyway so whatever.
Happy Saturday. My Phils are so smoking hot right now they burn holes in the tv screen.

Morning @Azimuth - so here’s some more weird fungal madness that sprung up overnight in the spent soil pile. What do you want to call this one? Lol. If these were sparkly I’d post them on dv8’s Don’t Click Here thread, but unfortunately I know just enough about shrooms to know these are not psychedelic.

Juicy Saturday Trichome Porn
I know I just did this last night, but her colors are coming on so quickly and she’s so damn photogenic inside that I can’t help myself. Even I can tell a couple of these pics are sweet as hell and material for the coffee book. Jesus I’m going to have to dedicate this harvest to Azi, he’s had several good ideas in the course of this grow. I’d love to say that it’s my cold creating these colors so I can pretend to be god, but I highly doubt that four days of cold has done this.

Morning @Carmen Ray - hey here’s something to note for you. So I just watered this girl. See where the moat is in relation to the plant? At first I thought maybe I was too far out to hit the feeder roots. But see how she’s all limping and stuff? That’s just from the watering she was at attention before hand. So why? Because we ARE hitting the feeder roots. Otherwise we wouldn’t see this. So this shows you how quickly the roots widen when you almost always water to the outside. Thought it would help solidify some of what we’ve been talking about.

Okay say bye to Jack. We’re not harvesting, but I am going to put her in the drying closet now and give her 36 hours of darkness since we have the time and space at the moment.
Here’s what the buds look like, and the trichomes. @Emilya tells me it’s safe to assume a 5% increase in amber formation in the dark time, so I am choosing today to plan for that accordingly. We’ll see how it goes.
