Jon's Dedicated Fruity Pebble Cookies Grow Plus The Mystery Plant

The cold apparently interferes with the plant's ability to uptake phosphorus, hence a deficiency leading to the pretty colors.
Not to mention magnesium:

"low temperatures will detrimentally affect the root system and the uptake of nutrients, particularly in the case of magnesium. This micro-nutrient is vital for the proper development of the cannabis plant and if the substrate is colder than 18ºC then this element is most likely not being absorbed by the plant."

Jack. Damnit!

Not what I’m trying to see. Normally I’d be psyched about this. But it’s enough already.

And how exactly will a four day deficit hurt my buds? Also if that’s the only reason for it, one would think four days won’t be enough, yes?

I’ve already proven I can keep them green to the end. I know I want higher temps. And she’s had them this entire time. Just at the end here is all I’m talking about. I honestly don’t see any deficiencies causing any issue in the time left. I could feed them 7.0 ph plain water at this point and you’d never know it

That sounds good @Jon! I'm loving how she's looking, and yours will probably be waaaay bigger! Your spent soil pile is better than Santa Klaus LOL

Tom Petty had it right - the waiting is the hardest part.
I don’t know BK, mine didn’t get a whole lot bigger than yours is last time. That was in Sohum under the NextLight. This is in FF/spent soil/GeoFlora, and now in a 3 getting 20/4. I couldn’t leave her in the pile to give her six hours a day of good light.

Exactly, it's a stressor. Like any other stressor, used with knowledge and moderation, it has the potential to create a final product with different/higher terpenes profile/cannabinoid content with minimal [>2%] loss in flower biomass.

Like the difference between the same strain grown outdoors 4500 feet above sea level vs. grown at sea level. There is more than 1 desired outcome in our cultivation. Maybe not a technique to recommend to beginners, but a good tool to have in the kit.

Ha! Just ragging on you Jon. Not much to fault with your grows so we look for any opportunity to needle you a bit. All in good fun. ;)

It takes a talented grower to know how (and  when) to tweak environmental conditions to produce wanted effects. We know you're just having fun and increasing the pleasure you get from your girls. :goodjob:

HA! I know @Azimuth, just responding in kind! And look a little closer - I can give you several reasons this grow ain’t all that and a list of mistakes I’ve made.

Yeah, but you have to point them out since they're not all that obvious to the rest of us.

Carry on. And keep the pics coming! :thumb:

Yeah we know...like this:

Not!
Hi @InTheShed - I’ll gladly be the first to admit I lucked out on Titan. Heh. That said, she’s my first auto in coco. XXL thing aside, maybe they all or mostly all get this big proportionally to soil in coco? Cuz you’ve seen exactly what I’ve done the whole time (thanks!) and you know I did nothing special or unusual with her, she just got like this. So next auto in this tent will be in coco and we’ll see if something similar happens size-wise. And the frost on her? That’s all Growers Choice genetics and the NextLight 420h, I did nothing to make that, lol. Any chance of ever seeing Shed try a plant (maybe an auto!) in coco? I bet tons of folks would be interested to see that.

Morning @Carmen Ray - hey man, we are still watering as in the picture. In the pots you are using it should be about time to begin watering that ring to a few drops of runoff. Not 5-10%. Just a little so we know it’s wet to the bottom. When you do this it will take longer to dry so plan on not watering for a few days at least. Still water only to the outside. Since your pots are square you can simply trace the square along the edges with the water. Okay? How’s your girls looking on what, day 4 or 5?

You have an itchy trigger finger?
Are the pistils done?
Is she still uptaking nutrients?
Hope your having a great day. :ciao:
That pic of the puppy yesterday was fantastic. :green_heart:
