Jon's Dedicated Fruity Pebble Cookies Grow Plus The Mystery Plant

Morning @Jon! Do you want temps 71-74 during the day? That seems a little cool I'm usually 77-82 but I could go lower, at least for the next month.

Oops I wrote this a few hrs ago and forgot to post it :ganjamon:
Hey @BubbaKush909 - not generally no. This whole time until I started seeing purple she was warmer, like up to 82/84 by day and 76-78 at night. An attempt to keep her green to the end. But then I see purple coming, and it’s pretty, and I want more. Lower temperatures will almost always produce more color than higher temperatures. So I lowered her to see if we can make more purple before she goes dark.

Want to take moisture out of your buds quickly for whatever reason? Sure you can put fans on them. But you can also toss them onto a pile of dried cover leaf. It’s softer and doesn’t mess up trichomes, and the dried leaf quickly absorbs moisture from the buds. Found this by accident but it really works. For what it’s worth!
Thought you’d get a kick out of that one @Bill284.

This is my assistant for small stuff we don’t need the stepdad for. I’m teaching her to trim. Well, I was. We ran into the whole “non-prehensile” thing, so now we’re playing outside instead. Heh.

Are you trying to get the flowers purple or the leaves? I've never heard of anyone lowering the temps just to get the leaves to change!
It's another way to add a low stress point at the end of flower to boost/preserve terpenes, and increase bag appeal as a bonus.

Also simulates a natural cycle of cold nights coming on in the fall, hopefully signalling the plant that it better boogie and beef up for the best odds of reproduction before winter.

All good reasons! I just never heard of anyone trying to get their leaves to change color using colder air, only flowers. That seemed to be Jon's interest from his posts, which is why I asked.

Nope just the leaves. I can’t control colors in the flowers, that’s genetics mostly. (Maybe a little but not like you can control the leaves) The buds ain’t getting any sweeter at this point so why not make some pretty leaves if we can? I wanna see how much time it takes. It has been almost three days of cold.

Fruity Pebbles OG bagseed @week 3.5. Yours are looking great my dude! Mines looking like a smaller yielder, can't wait to see them both finished.

Thanks @Braddah Waiheesohai ! I’ve been watching your grow and hoping for some closeups. Great color on her - very interesting those yellows. I don’t have them but I have her frost. I can’t wait either!!

Right! Banana yellow pistils, has me scoping for actual nanners every day .

It’s silly, I know, but I’m just having fun.
Hey @InTheShed - wait til I show you a bowl of dried foxtails! You know damn well those damn things ain’t surviving the trim! . Bet they smoke great though, they’re super frosty. Edit: I forgot, Shed, you know the 100 days? You were right! She’s on 94 today, not ready, plus there’s a day and a half of dark to add! Definitely making 100.
