Jon's Dedicated Fruity Pebble Cookies Grow Plus The Mystery Plant

Better than wahoo? I'd eat it regardless of size then.
I’m with you. Wahoo is awesome, so is dolphin (the fish) and many others here. It’s the one bright spot.

They  are resilient plants!
They sure are @Azimuth - check out what I did today. I had to water the autos. I use the hose. So I did the 24 Karat first. Only I forgot to let the water run through for a while first. If you don’t, you get hot water cuz the hose lays in the sun all day. I know I just forgot. So I’m watering away on her and I notice the pot seems awfully warm, lol.

I basically watered her with water that was way hot to my hand, so maybe 110-ish degrees? I was sure she’d wilt immediately and maybe check out even. I ran cold water through her to hopefully mitigate it. But she didn’t blink! Resilient.

Hi @Carmen Ray - hey fyi - today when I watered the Strawberry Banana, I gave her a rare “water the entire medium “ watering. But instead of just pouring water all over it is a three step watering process.
1. Water down side only to runoff
Let sit for about 20 minutes
2. Water only down the very middle of the main stem, very slowly, to runoff, which should run out only from the center of the bottom this time.
Let sit another 20 minutes
3. Water the outside edge again to finish

I learned this from @Emilya. It’s a pain in the ass, so it is like once every couple weeks. But I did it this way today on her.

Cool?

Btw - a good self challenge in testing your watering game is, maybe next run, begin one seedling in the final pot. Try to water it the same way as a Solo cup and see if you can fill a 3 or a 5 that way with roots. If so, you’re solid! I’ve done it with a 7. It takes attention. But it really helped my game to do it.

Thanks Jon, I appreciate your guidance. I will stop following now. Yes, I am familiar with Emilya's technique thank you.

Ok @Carmen Ray, I guess that’s a nice way of saying I get it already, leave me alone? Hope it was worth something.

Morning @Jon! Get the hell out of that state before something eats you or Molly! I saw a pic yesterday of a 200 lb, 18' Burmese Python they just caught down there. Do you have any gators in your pond?

Speaking of which is the move still on?
Lol! I saw that too! Yes it’s on just held up by a pesky lawsuit. Long story:

Titan
Final Yield Numbers

Well, our last box turned out to be the flarf zone. 75% of it was flarf. 22 grams of legit buds in the whole box, lol. The flarf hit the Trim Bin.

We were sitting at 11.96 ounces.

335 grams + 22 grams = 357 grams

357 grams = 12.75 ounces

Titan final yield: 12.75 ounces

That’s a big auto.

:bravo:
She deserves her own posts. She's my fav of everything you've grown, just gorgeous @Jon! Do they make a Fruity Pebbles auto?
I'm with you! Wowza!

Not at all! If that's how it came across I apologize. I do know how to grow plants and I need to listen to my experience is all; and I have a hard time telling people that. This is only the second time I have started cannabis seeds directly in soil, so it was good to follow along, thank you. All my previous starts were either in peat pucks or in those cups that biodegrade. I conclude that I like the direct into soil method better. I did lose you on the up-pot but no serious damage was done, so it's all good :thanks:

It’s a pre release and not even in their catalog yet, so I doubt it, but I haven’t checked lately.

Strawberry Banana Auto
Day 18

The rate of growth and overall sweetness of this plant absolutely destroys the first time I grew the same seeds. That time I used Sohum and additives. This plant is in Ocean Forest with @GeoFlora Nutrients. The difference is spectacular. The other difference, and I think the more important one, is that this pot was layered a la @Bill284. I am seeing the difference here between the Bill284 Method and plain living soil, at least Sohum. It’s no contest. She’s only on day 18! I have a week yet to train!

She's a picture of health Jon! Bill's onto something for sure!

I can't wait for mine to finish! I somehow screwed up the dry/cure of the Mimosa Lemon, same thing happened with the Zkittlez. It's in the jar at 70% and has no smell at all, maybe a little of the dreaded grassy smell. RH dropped to 40 for a day when I couldn't get to them and that's all it took. All the rest of the dry it was 60+. Great smoke but.....

It's always something!

Strawberry Banana
New Home!!!

This plant is too sweet and too big to leave in a lowly 3. I up potted her to a 5. The bottom is layered a la @Bill284, the hole sprinkled with myco, the roots with myco, and Happy Frog to fill.

Worthy of note is that in just 18 days I filled the 3 enough that the ball held together entirely on transplant. It was early but it held together.
