Jon705's Multi Strain HPS LED Hybrid System

I hope you can still save the majority of em bro.
Have you ever thought of trying to use just alkaline water? I would be interested to see if it helped. I have done a little research on the subject since I have this drinking machine that I told my wife was a scam and it probably is. it cost a ridiculous amount of money that I am embarrased to even say the price tag. but it alters the ph and I can produce anywhere from 2.5 to 9.5 ph'd water right from the machine. It just crossed my mind and I am waked and baked so just talking as if i was listening to the talking heads only I have no rhythm. lol

have a good one hope all is well on the canadian front
well hopefully this BS solution works, I mixed up a 12 cup batch of it and it did 14 plants, im really getting into all the crevices with it cause thats where it starts, looks like this is going to take a few hrs and a box of baking soda lol

Jon, it works on veggies, so I don't see why it won't on cannabis. I believe some of the folks doing water curing that I've been reading also use that solution, as well as a citric acid one (lemon juice) and rinsing... so as long as the buds can dry out I don't think it would cause an issue... but growing cannabis is still new to me, so I'm not sure... the baking soda method is not new to me though, and that I know works. One thing to note though, try to use a mild soap, ivory or a natural one. It's for emuslification, but harsher dish soaps can hurt the plants, depending on the soap.

Man, that outside patch is lovely.. I think I'd put a hammock out there and kick back with a big bhang lassi and a good book ;) :Namaste:

one of the colas snapped right in half last night from the rain, it was a pretty bad break just barely hanging on so I took it off, gotta be over an oz just from 1 top:)

sorry to hear about the botritus jon, what causes it, is it just humid conditions and cooler temps, is it something that you can get indoors as well, im concerned about powdery mildew late in flower indoors but not had it happen yet, is botritus pretty similar to pm or is it something totally different, but sounds like you caught it before it could get to bad though mate, i

i just made some hash but not using bubble bags, a few pages back you mention that you only let the trim wilt for 24 hours, well ive been collecting my trim for ages well since i started growing around 2 years ago, i thought i would need boxes and boxes of trim to get some decent hash, so i got 3 big shoe boxes full, then i got some big jelly bean jars full, just over 1ft in length and pretty fat, plus i only kept the best trim that i could clearly see the trichs on,

now my trim was crispy dry, i wasnt sure which method was best but next harvest ill try the 24 hour wilt method then freeze till i got enough to use, might work out slightly better, any way i used the gravity method, i had no bubble bags so i filled a big jug with water and stuck it in the fridge then made up a few bags of ice cubes, as i had not made hash before i decided to just use 1 jar of trim so placed that in the freezer, not sure if that was how to do it but i froze it to help remove trich from trim, i then filled the jug with ice and put the jar of trim in the jug, i then used a hand whisk the type with a handle that you turn and has 2 whisks that interlock when they turn, so i kept turning and all the trichs fell off the trim,

i done this for a while then removed the trim and let the mixture settle, ive now got some of it drying and some pics up in my journal, i ended up with a few very tiny pieces of trim in the hash but not much, its very blonde to look at but i guess it will get darker as it dries, but using the bubble bags you get different grades of hash, the method i used you just got 1 grade which by the looks of it dont look to bad, ive not made hash before so ill try the wilt and freeze method next time and see how that goes,

im pretty impressed with the results i got so far just off 1 jar so i should end up with a decent amount of hash after i start using up all the trim

i will try the bag method at some point, i found a site a while back that does the pack of 3 or 5 bags for pretty cheap, but this method is suppose to collect more trichs as its the same as the bag method but just without using the bags, so instead of each grade of hash collecting in the bottom of each back all the trichs just sink to the bottom, which is what they do in the bags,

i know with the bags you would be able to process more trim in one go but im pretty impressed with the amount i got considering how little trim i actually used,

I did my daily inspection of the outdoor girls and the good news is I dont see any budrot anywhere but it appears that most of the pistils have turned brown,im not sure whats thats about but the leaves are all praying to the sun so hopefully the baking soda spray didnt cause them to stop growing or something...I ll know in a few days if nothing's happening, fingers crossed.

The baking soda may have raised the ph, which is probly how it kills the mold, and made the pistils brown, and they may shrivel. I don't think it will hurt. Did that shit leave any residue? Do you wash your buds after harvest?
