Jon705's Multi Strain HPS LED Hybrid System

Thanks Mcloadie, I ended up trimming until 9pm, I decided to inspect every plant out there thoroughly and out of the 50 I looked at so far I found 7 plants with minor bud rot, any plant that had it got trimmed, this was a good decision because once I started trimming I found more on every plant that had it, I ll finish going through them today and from now on I ll be doing a daily inspection of every plant, if I find more rot that plant will come down, survival of the fittest lol

Whats the produce like?, you satisfied?

nice fat dense nugs for the most part, there was one strain out there that seemed to be all frosty leaf and not much bud 3 of those so far have gone right into the hash pile, man im gonna have a ton of sweetleaf! I probably wont keep any of the flowers I ll just smoke bubble, its hard work but that makes it all worthwhile imo:)

Good, it will be interesting to see what the rest do. I know you were a little concerned with ripeness. I have a plant outside that's covered with sugar.......NO buds yet!

this strain wasnt really growing buds, it kinda looked like spinach or something but really frosty, its either Narcotic Kush or maybe auto bomb not sure but it just didnt do well, thank god it wasnt one of the main strains! I also had a deisel auto and a cream caramel auto out there not sure, theres still one plant out there that looks exactly like Dr Grinsoon lol tiny little calyx's completely covered in trychs, even though theres not much weight one it I might dry it and give it a try, the rest of the sweetleaf gets left out to wilt for 24hrs and then dbl ziplocked and into the freezer for bubble:)

Hmmmm, 24 hrs.?, is it completely dry?, or is that how you always do it?

no not dry at all bro just wilted, ive learned that this tecnique makes the best sand colored bubble, the drier the material the more plant matter makes it through the screens as you adjitate(sp), this gives it a darker color and really affects the flavor.I learned this from Matt Rize, one of the best hash makers around:)

Haha, I knew I could get you to teach me something this morning! I gotta get some bags, my bro makes the best hash.....and I'll tell him about freezing it wilted. He had a cylinder ( or two ) machined out of tool steel, same size as a quarter, he puts a quarter in the bottom of the cylinder, which is threaded, then he puts the concentrate in the cylinder ( he has it figured out in half ounce increments ) and puts another quarter on top of that. Then he puts the machined piston in the cylinder, on top of the second quarter. This part blows my mind!, then he puts it in a hydraulic press and he said he presses it til it wont go anymore........won't go anymore?, LOL.......with a five ton jack on one of those presses I can't imagine how much pressure that is! The pellets end up about 1/2 inch thick. I put a flame to the edge of the pellet, and pinch a little off, this hash is better than any commercial hash I ever had......dense and smooth! The pellets also take the impression of the quarter on each end.....I hope you end up with some!

I dont press my bubble bro, this will also changes the color and flavor, your suposed to use a micro plane to turn it into shavings, this promotes quick even drying, the longer it takes to dry the more oxidization happens, thats why most pressed hash is black or dark brown, once in awhile I ll dry the trim right out and use my dry sifter to get the kief, I ll press that stuff to get the old school hash but personally nothing tastes better than properly made bubble bro, it keeps the flavor of the plant and is as smooth as hash can be, I dont have a micro plane yet so I use a new boxknife blade and chop it up into sand as soon as its out of the bags, does the same thing:)

I see, yep, his is light brown. I have a question, I have weed in paper bags in a room that's around 62% rh, so theoretically, as long as the humidity stays around there, the weed will assume that rh at some point, and in theory could be stored in the open in those conditions?, the temp is maxing out at 82 F in the hottest part of the day.

Happy Skunkday Jon:)

I been reading up on a baking soda solution.4 cups of water, 1 tbps baking soda, cpl drops of dishsoap so it sticks.budrot will only grow in acidic enviroments, baking soda is highly alkyline, it doesnt kill Botritis but the spores cant grow in an area that has been spray with this solution, it sounds like the perfect solution for me since the spores are already there, what do you guys think? theres 3 weeks left until theyre done give or take, will anypart of that solution affect the flowers flavor or anything else?

I hope you can still save the majority of em bro.
Have you ever thought of trying to use just alkaline water? I would be interested to see if it helped. I have done a little research on the subject since I have this drinking machine that I told my wife was a scam and it probably is. it cost a ridiculous amount of money that I am embarrased to even say the price tag. but it alters the ph and I can produce anywhere from 2.5 to 9.5 ph'd water right from the machine. It just crossed my mind and I am waked and baked so just talking as if i was listening to the talking heads only I have no rhythm. lol

have a good one hope all is well on the canadian front
