Jon705's Multi Strain HPS LED Hybrid System

re: Jon705's Multi Strain HPS LED Hybrid System

Here's what your after in the base.

Lignite*, coca fiber, perlite, pumice, compost, peat moss, bone meal, bat guano, kelp meal, Green sand, soy bean meal, leonardite, k-mag, glacial rock dust, alfalfa meal, oyster shell flour, earth worm castings and Mycorrhizae. Sunshine doesn't have anything near this! Sunshine Grower would be where I'd start if that's the choices!

re: Jon705's Multi Strain HPS LED Hybrid System

I've heard lots of folks talk about #4 Jon. I think that's the standard Sunshine. Wait for a soil guy to chime in though.

re: Jon705's Multi Strain HPS LED Hybrid System

It's not what he's looking for, he needs a rich complete organic soil to start with!

These kinds of soils...

Washed coco fibers, Alaskan peat moss, perlite, yucca, pumice, diatoms, worm castings, feather meal, fishmeal, kelp meal, limestone, gypsum, soybean meal, alfalfa meal, rock dust, yucca meal, and Mycorrhizae fungi.

Lignite*, coca fiber, perlite, pumice, compost, peat moss, bone meal, bat guano, kelp meal, Green sand, soy bean meal, leonardite, k-mag, glacial rock dust, alfalfa meal, oyster shell flour, earth worm castings and Mycorrhizae.

Does fox have something like this? Probably, can you get Fox Farms Jon?

re: Jon705's Multi Strain HPS LED Hybrid System

what do you guys think of this recipe?

SLAUSON SUPER SOIL (i put together a soil mix based off of a couple other ones ive done, just took the pieces from each one that i liked)

one bail pro mix bx (3.8 cf) 70% peat moss 30% perlite
one bag coco coir (1.7)
or one bail of canadian peat moss (3.8cf) one bag of coco coir (1.7cf) and a bag of perlite (1.7cf) instead of the promix
two smaller bags of earthworm castings (1.7)
1 small bag of pumice
7 cups ff peace of mind or organicare pure
2.5 cups fast acting pelletized lime
1.25 cups blood meal
1.25 cups feather meal
5 cups fish bone meal
2.5 cups bulb food
1.25 cups soft rock phosphate
2.5 cups kelp meal
5 cups alfalfa meal
12 cups steer manure

and if you can find these and want to add some extras then these are perfect but i dont find them all mandatory.

2.5 cups greensand
5 cups oyster shells
2.5 cups dolomite lime
2.5 cups gypsum
2.5 cups azomite
2.5 cups epsom salts
5 cups humic acid ore
1 cup high nitrogen bat guano

sprinkle mykos at the bottom of the root hole in each pot

let cook for 20-30 days or more. water with chlorine free water and turn every day to every few days. cooks faster in the sun. fills up a big kiddie pool. no nutes necessary, just water and a few AACT's. once at beginning of veg and once at at beginning of flower or every third watering. teas have ewc, alaskan humus, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, seaweed extract, fish hydrosylate, humic acid, mollasses

if anyone else has their own soil mix feel free to post it up.. or if you have experienece with any of these, let us know how it went for you.

re: Jon705's Multi Strain HPS LED Hybrid System

thanks for the names of the autos, i got a big buddha purple cheese auto growing at the minute but under 17-7 as i got plants in veg, again its going to be small, clearly autos need their rest period just like any other plant, under 18-6 they seem to flower way to early and dont get big at all, i was shocked when i went 12-12 with the kc45 and it ended up 3 times the size, the buds are now dry and i got 4 big buds about 1ft in length and pretty fat, when i grew under 20-4 i was lucky to get a bud as big as my finger,

so clearly their is more to this than people think, when these autos are done im flipping back to glr for veg and dls for flower,
from now on all give autos 12-12, then i can see if that produces good results every time,

re: Jon705's Multi Strain HPS LED Hybrid System

wish I knew more about this organic stuff lol..its a little overwhelming trying to figure what does what and what recipe I should use for a true water only soil that produces good yields with products that are available here....ive almost talked myself of out of even trying tbo, I cant afford to mess around with different mixes until I get it right

re: Jon705's Multi Strain HPS LED Hybrid System

Why do you need to look around? Subcool has done all the work, just copy it! His method is easily the easiest method of growing super quality Cannabis I've ever seen! mix soil once a year, water when dry & enjoy the finest organic cannabis! EM=Myccos right?

re: Jon705's Multi Strain HPS LED Hybrid System

because im not sure if I can get all the ingredients, still trying to source it out locally.there are no farms here and only a few greenhouses.my only option is the local hyhdroshop, hes looking into it but im sure the prices will be rediculous, and online, im not sure if I want to do the online thing yet its a last resort I guess...

re: Jon705's Multi Strain HPS LED Hybrid System

Subcool gets 10-12 ounces per plant with 60 days of veg/rooting time & 60 of flower...If I had the room I'd be perpetual soil again(small space=hydro to me), maybe in a year or two...
