Jon’s 3 Autoflower - 3 Pounds Attempt Grow

wow Jon, these are looking fantastic.
Hopefully your Eagles keep it up, I am dreaming of a Philly vs Kansas City superbowl this year. Growing up in Eagles country as a Chiefs fan my entire life its been my dream since I was a child since all of my friends are Eagles fans

Nice @Costanza! I’m a lifer with the Birds but have a soft spot for KC cuz of Andy Reid, the best coach in football. I’d love that SB!

So I asked one of people with working legs in my house, and a superior phone camera to mine, to snap a few shots of the White Widow, and to try and get the entire plant from directly overhead. My mom tried her best. This is what she came up with. Photos by mom, editing by me. Lol. She did alright!

Yeah she did! :green_heart: :woohoo:

An aptly named plant…

Every sugar leaf on the White Widow gets super frosty like this. As a result, you end up with a plant that looks almost white - silvery greenish white. It’s so badass I can’t stand it. She shimmers! One of her best looks is in the morning before lights on, when I turn on the garage overhead light and it lights her up just a little through the partially open tent door. Just mesmerizing to look at. Why I waited this long to grow this is beyond me. Very easy to see where it got it’s name.

That's a plant Jon, How it got that big that fast is past my comprehension. 10/10 so far
Thanks @LizardMate, I agree 100%. It’s like one day she was okay, medium growth, nice but nothing spectacular, then suddenly, over two or three days, she became….this. Crazy. Big gear shift!

Scenes from the Garden

I found an angle I’ve been seeking. First picture is a weird one showing a bud off each plant side by side.

Second picture displays the Forbidden Runtz fattening up and getting fairly close.

My newly established early veg spot.

The light is my oldest and first - it’s an old school @Maxsisun blurple with 10 watt LEDs. Red and Blue. Still works perfectly. It’s almost three years old and has been beaten up and used many many hours. Lol. It was a fabulous light in its day, and is very well made. I’m a big fan of Maxsisun, so much so that I bought a small Maxsisun quantum board, the PB4000, an excellent 400 watt light that works very well in a 3x3 or 4x4. I used it once to flower the Jelly Rancher a while back, just have no space for it at the moment. This blurple in the setup, billed as a 1200 watt light, has an actual wattage draw of 256 watts. This makes it perfect for veg. Where this plant is, it is getting hit with around 450 ppfd and can grow to within 12” of the light before it gets up potted and relocated, and that will have it grow into about 800 ppfd by then. House environment (this is my bedroom), which is perfect for veg as well, mid 70s and high rh (60-65% ish). It allows me to get plants well off the ground before facing the outdoor environment with lots of wind by day, and do it without taking up any tent space. Especially useful for starting outdoor plants.
