I suppose any seeds, bagseed or otherwise, can produce a great phenotype, and yes it makes sense that how we grow/water it makes a difference. The trouble I've found with bagseed is that it's a gamble, could be anything, hermaphrodite, male, cabbage, lol. Or something special. That's the gamble, roll of the dice.I am still carrying the memory of an accidentally droughted plant I grew close to 15 years ago. It was just from bag seed, but after getting wilted in a too small pot all thru Summer, and then harvested with about 15% amber, the result was really top class, way better than the buds it came from.
I want good genetics too, but that experience made me wonder how much is it to do with how we grow/water it, and how long we do so before the chop, as usually the weather causes me to harvest before I get the full amount of amber I want.
Do you run a fan with your indoor? I was wondering if I used a spare bathroom over winter when heat shouldn't be an issue from LEDs, and whether I could get away with just sealing the window and running the light?
In my tent, I have a small oscillating fan blowing over the seedling, helps with airflow and to strengthen the stalk. Not a storm, more like a gentle breeze at the moment. I also have an extractor fan with a carbon filter, for the smell, as well as the airflow through the tent.
If you're going to use the bathroom, you need airflow into the room from somewhere dry, and airflow out of the room via extractor fan. If the room has a vent, that would be a handy exhaust.
One of my first mistakes was not having airflow in the tent and the next day the walls were dripping wet with condensation. It's surprising how much moisture plants produce in a sealed area.
