I just tried crushed garlic from a jar, blended w/ (good) water, then strained into spray bottle. I spray it all around the plants & anywhere I see moths, it seems to deter most, but not all of the moths I am at war with. Caterpillar Killer has kept inchworms to a minimum before they die.. I also let loose LadyBugs, they eat the eggs and the worms!

Well fuck me. i figured id have longer but i had to do some more LST today

The Big Momma already hit the roof today. And to make matters even crazier today is feeding day and I got a big batch of compost tea brewing up for the last 5 days. So Im sure shes gonna grow another 4 inches in a night and hit the roof again in a few days haha.

But shes got a good 7 inches clearance atm. At the rate though she could be a 2P by the time harvest comes. I bet shes big enough now for a 1P. Her Trunk I finally saw today (havent seen it in awhile was too bushy) Its bigger then a redbull can


We getting close to home stretch, only 2, 3 maybe 4 months till touchdown. Lets hope for some bigguns hey fellas? And lets hope the neighbor kids dont try and take my buds rofl.

Big Mama is looking like she will reach for the skies a bit more ay You may well have to put some tethers on her top branches and pull them down, well across slightly if your able? I think it would take to it well, dont go too hard but maybe have a look at which branches are the tallest and you may only need to slightly bend them and the others can just grow as usual and wont be shadowed by the taller ones as much? If you understand my dribble..:/...

Big Momma is already tied down a few times by now. If I hadent she would surely be 7 feet tall by now if not 8.

I tied her down today with the branch hitting the roof. Within next 3 days i saw some others i will surely have to tie down as well.


I also think for my 2 flowering chemdogs I will start feeding them boom nute teas, instead of the normal veg compost teas ive been feeding everything. It seems like they are both not planning on stopping flowering. So I may as well embrace it and feed em flower nutes. They are 5 feet tall so its not like the yield will be too small from them.

Lets hope it turns out to be funkmaster fish.

As for my 2 chemdawgs that are clearly budding still, I am gonna start feeding them their own separate stuff To increase crystal and bud production. Everything else gets normal veg nutes and compost tea, but the budding chemdawgs im sure want more phosphorous and less nitro. Ill probably toss in some amino acids for good measure.

very nice my friend, wish i was having height issues like that, not indoors but outdoors, instead i can look at what you and miwa got growing outdoors and hope that one day ill be able to grow some huge ass plants outdoors, till then its indoors for me,

how big a plant can a 400 watt dual spec hps grow, ive seen some huge plants 5ft tall under 2 x 400 watt hps

if i could get a good yield with just 1 or 2 plants then id just grow one or 2 plants, but i just dont know how big i can go with these plants indoors with just 1 light,

how high is your ceiling ???...substract the height of your pot and thats how high you can grow a sativa...you can turn the light vertical...so now shouldn't we talk about yield.....i grew a jock horror iinside that was 5 feet...under a 400 mh and cfls...

I hope you get soome solid chunk like that plant my mate had thats similar to yours, it should gain bit in last few weeks.. HEY DONPAUL - Drop by my journals buddy!!!!!
I start off from seed,germed in paper towel under a cfl, then once it taps, put it 1cm into the soil - cover and lightly water. Keep moist for a day or 3 and you should have the seedling above ground! I usually go with 2 or so 6500k CFL's starting them for their first week or so until it has about 5 pairs of leaves, then I begin LST and as it gains I usually put it under my 400w MH.
And if you recall I only do a single plant grow, aiming for above 1pound dry come harvest time. I have a 400w HPS also, But I only use the 1 light for the 1 plant, I do move my light left/right/up/down as needed sort of mimicking the sun, I do this as my plants are spread out during the initial LST and its wider at early stages, I keep my light around 15 -20 cm above the plant pending on the plants growth or where lights positioned. So Ill stay with the 400w MH until Im ready to flower and then Ill go with the 400w HPS for flowering, I am contemplating a DUAL-SPEC globe for Flower, But a 600w one, I have a 600w HPS too - But this I only use if the plant is about 5ft tall to give further penetration into the inner bud shoots, its a SON-T Gro globe which is not a bad globe, BUT- I am very intrigued to see if having a good 600w DUAL SPEC globe will give better results bud size wise. As Ive been reasoning with this idea for a while about the sun having multiple spectrums, So to me, having the mix of both spectrums going made sense?? The blue/white for helping Veg growth and Amber/yellow for Bud building, I AM NOT SURE IF THATS HOW IT WOULD WORK, BUT YOU D THINK YOU D STILL WANT SOME VEG GROWTH TOO DURING FLOWER?
Someone with some experience with using a dual may chip in their 2cents worth hopefully, as Id like to know if anyone gotten some good results using them.

As with all outdoors the chop date is just a very rough estimate. I also lost two colas off the chemdawgs. one was 2 feet long the other like 1 foot.

But judging by the size, the amount of crystals and all i would say its got 5-7 weeks left on the 2 chemdawgs.

I hit them with some big bud and other flower stuff. Not very organic i know but i really didnt wanna go making a small batch of flower tea for two plants and I had some big bud nutes just sitting around anyways so i may as well use em.

Well I raised the roof 4 inches the other day. Plants hit it today in multiple spots lol...

I may have to raise the greenhouse and have it higher then my walls. I dont wanna but it might have to be done.

Just about everything is showing signs of starting to flower. only the sativas dont show it yet, but they will probably start in a week or so. I will be making a flower, compost tea for the next watering.
