When i was a kid my mom used to take me to a place called the cd listening bar. They had lots of cd players and you would just go there and listen to w/e CD you wanted to before buying. It was a pretty cool place for listening to music, atleast before the internet.
They had this t shirt there with chronic the hemphog stoned out of his mind. I used to beg and plead with my mom to buy me the shirt, but alas she never did
. However I had the last laugh in the tshirt wars because later that year i got a shirt called "Dickman". It was a skateboarding shirt with a giant dick riding a skateboard throwing a middle finger. I got suspended from school pretty quick for that shirt lol .

So good news. I found Kirby jr today. Apparently the praying mantis and the lady bugs have not abandoned me in my fight against evil. I saw both today on my Chemdawg.
Then here is the biggest bud so far.
And here is the smaller hydro that was all gimped out. It seems to like soil more and its growing good again
And here is 2 chemdawgs and 2 gdp i made.

Ahh good to see you ve decided to give it a go, Im not sure that Id be comfortable doing a Scrog, even tho I guess Id basically do as I do til plant is big enough then put the screen above and spread out the branches into each square section and so on.
But no, I will go with my mess of tethers I thinks..

The war continues. I just found and killed 2 monster sized grasshoppers hanging out in my greenhouse. Stupid caterpillars keep causing dead dried up spots on the chemdawg buds...
But alas, all hope is not lost. I just found 2 lady bugs fucking on my Purple Kush!!! They shall create an army to venture forth and conquer the evil that has spread throughout the land.
This is what the dumb ass caterpillars do to my poor Chemdawg buds.
Here is now the current largest plant I got and she grows inches per day every day. I named her Big Momma.
All my J-13 plants are finally out of limbo. For a full month they didnt even grow (probably because of reveg shit) But now check it, they back baby. THEY BACK!!!
Here is Paula and her 2 sisters. Shes about 5.5 feet tall.

Ive had a height prob for weeks. I keep LSTing everything. Soon will be my 3rd round of LSTing everything down again
If worse comes to worse I can always make the greenhouse walls wider if I run out of room in the center.
For now I just tie the tall branches down about 2 feet lower then they are. Usually with gardeners tape and tie it to the tomato cages. Then it takes those tops around 1 month to grow to the roof again.

just show them who's boss, get the hedge clippers out and warn them if they dont stop growing your going to chop their head off, your the boss, just start shouting and look mad,
if that dont work then shout a bit louder and start the chain saw up, that should be enough to get your point across,
these damn plants have got no respect for us, its about time we let them know whos boss, i might stop watering mine just to let them know without me their nothing, then ill have no problems from them in the future, at least thats what i hope they think,
let me know how the shouting goes,
failing that put a stake in the ground and pull the top over with some string, that will help maintain a stable height, just keep pulling the top over every few days, dont do to much lst in one go, just a bit a day and you wont stress the plant at all, you might end up with a banana shaped bud but should solve the height issue

Interested in how these caterpillars effect you, I deal with the same issue, however the ones I get actually bore into the stems/stalks and hollow them out, then travel from the insides and establish fortress. If I find one, I usually find about 5X more, atleast.
Do you spray your buds, or just picking them off the old fashion way? These things are the worst brother, hope you can get a handle on them quick.

Ive been finding plants can take near infinite LST as long as its really low stress. If you arnt breaking branches, pinching the plants in any way, and tieing them softly (which is why im loving the green gardeners tape over things like wires or pipe cleaner) Every time I bend them doing it with gardeners tape and tomato cages they dont stop growing at all not even 1 day. Where as using pipe cleaners or string I certainly saw the vigorous growth stop somethings or slow down. The gardeners tape is also nice because it stretches so if the wind blows the plant it lets the plant still move naturally.

Those few dead parts of the bud come from the caterpillar eating the stem or connective area to that part of the nug.
I wasent really caring about the caterpillars earlier cause they just eat a leaf or two. However about a week ago I started using BT every 5 or so days, and yes I spray it right on the buds. Now that its clear that one chemdawg is just gonna keep flowering and never reveg along with my juicy fruits I gotta start the butterfly massacre and keep it going. Will be spraying every 5-7 days until november with BT by Nov everything should harvest id think.

now if i remember right the bug problem your having with it eating the buds and tunneling into the plant is due to a certiain type of caterpiller, ill try and find out where i got the info, im sure it was something jorge cervantes talked about in one of his grow bibles, ill watch them again and try and find the info for you, but it was basically saying that its a certain type of catterpillar that tunnels its way through the buds,
ill see what i can find out and what you can use to stop it causing more problems, i know i was watching something about it a while back, but it is a certain type of bug if i remember right,
ive not had any issues with using pipe cleaners as lst, i find as long as you start with a small amount of lst then pull it a bit more each day then it causes no issues, some people dont let the plant stretch and that causes problems, if you leave the ties on to long and dont take them off and let the plant stretch then it can cause branches to snap and stress the plant,
i wouldnt use pipe cleaners outdoors, the wind would make them cut into the stem, plus pipe cleaners would rust quicker outside, im not sure what harm this would do to the plant but i replace mine every couple of months as they tend to break and rust pretty quick once wet.
cant wait to see the harvest, this is going to be a nice yield for you, i just wish i could grow outdoors, if i had the money id take a 12 month holiday and grow me some outdoor plants, i know i couldnt bring the buds home but id just be glad i got to experience some monster outdoor plants in person.
