Great Update Brotha J6k :high-five:
Thank's Chronic.:Namaste:
Also, I forgot to mention to everyone that I was no longer using/feeding any of the girl's Growology. The only girl's I am feeding it to is the 10,#2 s.p in flower now.Nothing against Growology at all.The shit work's work's and those 10 girl's should finish up nicely.I just want to try something different for awhile and actually do some comparing as far as weight, taste and over all health of plant's.I used Growology long enough to know if my decision to switch to something new was the way to go.It's a good product and you may see me switching back some day.Im going to go back to using Age Old Organic's with the fox farm flower trio as well. After a run or 2 I will know which of the 2 (Growology or Age Old) work's best for me.All the Girl's in Veg have been on Age Old since been transplanted.A few week's now, atleast. The 4 big N.lxBB in flower (The 4 in last post)are also on Age Old.
I used Age Old in the middle of this journal,I believe.lol...And Gh in the start of journal.
I honestly need to go back and review my journal a bit.Im a little more experienced now tho(I like to think I am anyway) and want to try Age Old again, since I had most of it still on hand.Maybe after a few Old Age run's,I'll do a few using the GH line again.I still have most of there bottle's also.
Im sure I have posted this pic before but here is the Nutrient line I am using as of now.(with the exception of the 10 flowering girl's)
34981.JPG

This is a copy of there old schedule.I have yet to study and try the one on there web site.
021308.JPG

I no longer use the Calibur 20 as cal/mag supplement. It's a thick a white liquid and I just didn't like it.I use GH cal/mag in it's place.I am not trying to go organic and these are Not Fully Organic nutrient's.

Copied from their FAQ web page..

Are you certified organic?
We are not certified organic. We are an organic based fertilizer company striving to improve the healthy microbial flora in growing soils and mediums. Healthy soils nurturing Healthier plants will help protect the earth from the harmful use of pesticides and herbicides. We find the balance between the Age Old way of developing soil fertility and new technologies that make it possible to incorporate key elemental nutrients for quick absorption and optimal plant growth.

I think I'll go with writing on the box as opposed to writing on the bulb.lol
Good Idea.:bravo:
Dude that work's at the grow shop pulled them out of box and took a utility knife and scratched some kind a date of some sort off of the base of the bulb.He said it was for the year warranty that come's with bulb's.I never seen them do it before so it was new to me.lol
I haven't even pulled them out of box yet to see what he scratched.Which remind's me.Gotta go change bulb'd now.
Light's on..30 min.lol
I'll try and grab a pic or 2 before light's come on.

Well i dont right on the actual bulb, just to make sure were on the same page  theres a plastic bit at the bottom of cfl as u probley know, just there :) iv never heard of anything like that before either, i wouldnt see the need to do that. suppose there was a reason for it. And.. ur not suppose to directly touch the HPS bulb with ur hands it puts oils from ur fingers on it and i cant remember why or what happens but i just heard this in a Doc. just incase u didnt know :Namaste:

I use a clean disposable glove when changing High Intensity Discharge light bulbs as any oils from your hands can dramatically lower bulb life. Rubbing alcohol can be used to clean any oils from the light bulbs in case of contact.

Happy Daze J6:)...I hope all is well with you and yours today:)

I hear oil from the hands on hid's can actually make the bulb burn or pop

It can Chronic....when i did electrical work years ago was my first time dealing with a Halogen High Intensity bulb....i think it was halogen...but anyway i didnt know about the not touching the bulb and did as i replaced it...before i got off the ladder the other guy cut it on to make sure it worked and it exploded ......luckily none went in my eyes, but that was a first and last time for that:)lol

Jimmy I hope your right and we do get to sit down together one day and talk about all this and burn one.... I just love ya to pieces.....
On the USS I only used it 3 times on Queenie but with the girls in the big tent I have sprayed all of them just once.... I kinda just half azzed did it but it was just before going 12/12 and I think you can start even before that but need to stop a few weeks before harvest if using foliage spray.... It says if you are using in the water you can add up to 2 tsp the last couple of weeks of flower.... So I guess it is how you use it but it will be much less expensive using as a foliar spray... any how you can spray it on pretty liberally all over every 7 to 10 days just as light are going out.... it says not to apply during lights on cause it will cause it to burn.....:circle-of-love:

I was just BS'n around Indo.:thumb:I didn't think you actually wrote on the bulb it self.
I am aware of touching hid bulb's wit bare hand's but thank's for pointing it out. There may be someone out there that did not know that.:high-five:

Thank's John.
Im sure disposable glove's work great, but I like to use a microfiber towel.Reason being I can easily wipe clean any dusttat may have gotten in my cool tube and Hood's.

It's true:thumb:

I believe it's caused by the heat the heat they put off.You don't want to touch certain type's of automobile head light bulb's either.
Glad to hear no one was injured.:Namaste:
Glad it didn't get you in the eye :thumb:

Im glad you mentioned SSU.
I noticed on the feeding chart that it can be used all threw out the plant's life.
Feeding Schedule | Emerald Triangle

I don't know what effect/benefit it will have on vegging plant's but I plan on doing a bit of research and try and find out.
I did spray 2 of the Big N.L x BB and also the N.L x BB auto on 2/17.
Oh and also replaced hps bulb's on 2/17..
Got a few pic's.
Here's the N/L x BB auto.
I gotta say she has not looked very happy threw out the whole grow. She is growing just hardly ever perked up reaching.
Idk,what her deal id but like I said she's growing and has stretched quite a bit since sticking her under 12/12.

I have not been feeding any cal/mag to these girl's as I didn't think I needed to being under hps.
I was wrong asyou can see in some of the pic's.

Oh and I would like to thank 420 and Richard Richardson for the super fast response and help of changing my journal name.:Namaste:

Ahh i see uv the auto and photo NLxBB very nice. Iv had my eye on the auto version for a while and if im right, its the one that has a toutch of El Nino in it. I had a feeling u were on to something i must test this my self in the futur. the only thing i get worried about is the water drops acting as mini magnifying glass and damageing the leaves, but it looks like uv watered at lights off so things should be all G:thumb:

I only sprayed 2 of the 4 so we can see how much of a difference the SSU make's.:thumb:
Just for comparison.:thumb:
I'll be watching closely & will probably run the same type of test. Thanxx again Jimbo.
