Where I am in Canada it is very dry. I stopped worrying about the humidity and my life has been better off. Here are my plants that are just sitting in the house. As you can see they do not care that the humidity is low.

Watering correctly and following a proper nutrient schedule are going to be the most important things.

I just finished my first grow and what I learned was to be patient and slow down. In the beginning I had never seen an under watered plant. Now quite a few times I have waited till some of the leaves were droopy from lack of water pressure before feeding. Still not “optimal” to do this but much better than over watering.

Canadian Tire logo in pic, nice touch. lol Do you use CALMAG? is there a Canadian equivalent? Found it fairly expensive on line $30ish
 
Burnt a few small holes in the 2 larger domes.. slowly get the plants used to less humidity.

The Hindu Kush plant has a 4 finger leaf, thought that was kinda cool.

As for my genetics I’m spoiled I have connections to big breeders and the ability to select the linneage of my plants I’m never dissatisfied with my seeds unless im using bag seeds or a test run for my buddy of something he wasn’t sure of even most test streins run well he has been at this for some time as far as choosing genetics goes all I can say is find a flavour or high youlike stay in and around those geneotypes and you will always be happy with what you produce
 
For myself I’m really into the OG/ diesel/ Chem dawg likes have never gone wrong love that fuely sour citrus type mostly indica variety’s as I have a high tolerance and need something that can sit me down and level me out so I stay with the over 20% OG and Chem dawg lines
 
Ya I only smoke indica's myself. Maybe not only... but usually what I buy for sure. I am an anxious person! If smart I'd probably go for lower THC, but of course, always go for the strongest stuff too :)

Wow, did your plants ever take off!! Almost looks like they're stretching. Didn't flip the light schedule did ya?

The wife and I have the same issue so we switch up between edibles, concentrates and flower.

They are looking great for sure and no they are still on 18/6 they are just exploding it’s crazy I since I dropped that light to 16” they have taken right off and yess strong inicas are my fav also love concentrates prefer solvent less
 
She looks very healthy half you sorted out what was going on and that is a cool mutation I have seen allot of crazy fans on one Sativa I did in year I counted up to 12 fingers in a single fan that this was crazy looking god I love when plants grow nicely, the girls closed the gap in the middle today now it’s a solid canopy of bush 740C68C5-F80B-4FEE-BD8D-8F7B8BDC1F8F.jpeg
