The Jack actually grew into the cool tube overnight...I just raised the light when I added the super Critical plant...the two big plants are 8 inches away and the auto is about 14 inches away...the 6 inch 450 cfm Vortex exhaust fan does a great job of exhausting the air...temps at plant tops average 76-80 degrees

We are getting Regs' storm now. It ain't purty out there.....pure white and inches rising fast. BLECH!!!!

I just went to the grocery store to get ingredients for delicious chicken nachos

I saw a guy the size of an NFL linebacker in a sundress (it's 20 degrees out), furry Uggs and a blond wig ...I live in a small country town... now wishing I stayed longer just to see everyone's reactions LMFAO!!!!

I know right. It's like the never ending snow storm. But with today off if than can close city offices tomorrow It will turn this into a Valentines Friday followed by a 4 day weekend. That's a mini-vacation!

Ohhhhh trust me mate, I tried VLST (VERY low stress training) just gently wiring her from one side to the other then back again (she was "S" shape almost lol) . Still hit the 40" mark though lol

Hey buddy.....I've never used anything but coco.....mainly because I've never grown before lol But I honestly can't see ANY reason to change I know that where I come from EVERYONE, bar none, uses Coco

I agree OZ...I just started using it but I already notice a big difference...I started by growing in soil and quickly switched to hydro...I had trouble with the hydro due to water issues (lockout problems) and lack of skill ...after a few grows I switched back to soil and have used soil for the past couple years

What I notice so far with the coco is the instant response to nutes... it sounds like flushing will be a much quicker process...also I like the ability to re-use the coco...I have read.that it actually gets better by about the third use

I have a lot to learn as this is my first time growing in coco but I really like it and plan to continue to use it

Spot on mate...it's 100% inert so it "uses" whatever you throw at it. I started "feeding" the Tutts at 2 weeks......BIG mistake....7 ays is about right for 1/4 strength......2 weeks later 1/2 strength. Flush is SO easy. I reduced nute % from 100-50 for a week, (added Molasses to water for one feed) then gave 2 more just PH'd water before chop. The smoke was strong, mellow and NO nute residue. Can't get that with soil grows so quickly. Also you get 5 uses...3rd is best as you say. One "down" is getting root tendrils out of it thought lol

I gave my seedlings 3 ml/ gal of botinacare CNS 17 (coco nutes) PH 5.8 a few days ago...they have already almost doubled in size and are very healthy...much faster than soil...I'm impressed

Great news on the seedlings buddy I'm sure you'll do a STELLAR job with them as always. Yep, PH "ideal" is 5.8. One thing to know is that it's neigh on impossible to over water in coco (another benefit ) but it does tend to LOOK dry (the surface dries easily). Don't be fooled, it's fluid retention is great an inch or two down. If in doubt though feed away.....as I say, over watering is impossible and flushing easy
