My first grow was 5 jacks from GH. They all ended up over 5 feet tall even after tying them down to try and control them. I really didn't know what I was doing and they ended up like yours. Really, really potent but skinny buds. I did have one that showed more Indica tendencies that had fatter buds. I would do it differently this time.

Yeah...I love the Jack smoke...might try the Sensi Jack next (considerably more expensive) instead of the GH. I'm am curious to see the difference

Jay buddy, I'm sure you fluxed these girls from the beginning but haven't worried too much about keeping the canopy flat and level a la LA. Have you noticed anything during vegging, I should watch out for in either direction. I know I'm going to be constantly battling with nine girls to keep them flat. Lol

Believe it or not I tried real hard to keep the canopy level...constantly tying the high points down (resulting in me splitting the trunk in half LOL)...I got good results from defoling the main (outside) tops...the defol slowed down the outside enough to let the inner catch up...then after a while I just let it build vertically...I turned the plant often to get more light to slower branches...because of my limited space and the position of the light I couldn't move the plant around too much (the center got maximum light) giving the plant a more rounded shape.

I really liked the results I got from defol on the outer branches over topping

Flower tent today

I used buckets to get the other two plants to the same height as the Jack...should work out good because I can just remove 2 1/2 feet of buckets as the auto grows

I just went to the grocery store to get ingredients for delicious chicken nachos

The Jack actually grew into the cool tube overnight...I just raised the light when I added the super Critical plant...the two big plants are 8 inches away and the auto is about 14 inches away...the 6 inch 450 cfm Vortex exhaust fan does a great job of exhausting the air...temps at plant tops average 76-80 degrees
